We wanted to create a place not only dedicated to cultural enrichment through our language courses, but also a place where to relax while reading one of the masterpieces of Spanish literature, sometime listening to a good concert or to a live recitation of poetry and diving in this way in the magic of many unknown locations. With the association and the collaboration of many people of the cultural, artistic and musical world we bridged and we are going on to bridge many projects between Spain and Italy, through universities and regional institutions.
It is now, in , five years that the association has been at work.
With the help and the collaboration of all of the people who took part in this wonderful project we got to create in Bologna a one-of-a-kind association, which became a benchmark for the diffusion of Spanish and Italian cultures as they are known in all the world.

Inspired by Your Browsing History. Leopoldo Alas remains a rather enigmatic figure in the Spanish literary world, leaving a legacy that encouraged the search for God and humanism simultaneously. Not to mention Ana's husband, whose life revolves aroung hunting and the theatre; and Don Fermino's conniving mother, with her lard poultices! Mis Series en DVD. This novel is a very great work of art, but I had to work hard to appreciate it.

Marvelous novel, that told me the 19th century novel was alive and kicking in Spain - I had no idea. If you think you've run out of great 19th century novels, oh come here. Feb 07, Joey Warner rated it really liked it.
The edition I mostly read was published by Clasicos Castalia, not the one shown on this page. A married soldier returning from World War II poses as a pregnant woman's husband to save her from her father's anger and honor. The young Ana, married to the retired regent Hector Alterio , lives oppressed by the provincial hypocrisy and the mystical fears of an absorbing religion. Sexually dissatisfied, beset by constant erotic dreams, she reveals in her confessional her intimate torments, and to complete the circle, D.
Vetusta , "Vetusto" in Spanish stands for "antiquated", "extremely old", a provincial capital city, very identifiable with Oviedo, capital of Asturias - especially since it is said that two monks, Nolan and John, founded the city, this being Oviedo's mythical genesis. On the other hand the film uses the city of Vetusta as a symbol of vulgarity, lack of culture and hypocrisy. Ana incarnates the tortured ideal that perishes progressively before a hypocritical society. These great actors are completed by a great panorama of secondary characters, well portrayed by the filmmaker with merciless irony, completes the human landscape of the film , such as: Sensitive and emotive musical score by Bingen Mendizabal.
