Have two people stand about four or five feet away from each other with flashlights on. They should hold the flashlights so that they are even and make a straight line. Begin with the lights at about shoulder height. The other people should walk under the beam. If the light touches them, they are out. Then, lower the beams like regular limbo. Keep lowering until there is only one person left in the game. Find a room that you can completely darken. Choose one person to be alone in the dark. Man hunt is where you play hide and seek then once you are found it turns into tag for you! It is fun outside or inside.
Me and my friends made a game called monster grudge it's a game where there is one monster and at least 3 other players or more and one monster hides anywhere in the house until he's ready he makes a monster noise when he does the others come out of a selected room or area. To win they must see the monster and the monster must attempt to kill them if he does they can run back to the room or area and they're safe but if you are the monster the only way to win is to kill all the other players before any of them get to the room or selected area. It's a really fun and creepy game to play in the dark and me and my friends play all the time!
We play a game called murder in the dark. It is practically tag in the dark, but the person who is tag they have to cont to 30 before they can tag anyone. But whilst your counting the others hide. Well I guess these kind of helped me I plan surprises for party's.. My sister and I were just recollecting a game we played with our siblings in the early 's we called it "Lights Out", but I'm sure it must be known by another name because I just Googled it and Wikipedia refers to a 's electronic game.
In our version, it was played by two teams with one or more on each team.
Each team's territory was one of two adjoining rooms with large sliding doors between them maybe 6' opening. At the back of each room we placed a target we used doilies. Then all lights were turned off and the room made pitch black. The object was to infiltrate the opponents room and with great stealth, get the opponents doilie, then return to our own territory without being caught. Since we were in close quarters, even breathing might give us away! I hope someone remembers such a game and what you called it. These sound hilarious and fun. I like to still think I'm 17 and will definitely be trying these out.
A really cool game for the dark is ghost hunters. It is for two or more players.
One person is the hunter. He or she has to find the ghost. The ghost will run around and try not to get caught. The ghost also has to try to make the hunter scream. He or she can do anything the want as long as it is not painful. If the hunter catches the ghost, then they win.
If the ghost makes the hunter scream then they win. Other things to know: To catch the ghost the hunter has to grab the ghost and "lock them up". This just means to take them to an area you make the "dungeon". If you complete that the hunter wins. The ghost wins if they make the hunter scream. They can sneak up on them or throw something at them when they don't know. Don't get dirty and hurt someone. The last thing is the ghost can escape if they get caught.
To be fun set up traps. This go's to both hunter and ghost. It's really disappointing to see how kids today find enjoyment in video games and TV--things that make them more of a couch potato. If you're playing in someone's backyard, make use of the structures. Hide underneath a slide. Hide under the table in the playhouse. As with regular tag, once you are tagged, you are out.
Thus, while you are hiding, scope out your location and look for other places you could dart behind. Be sure that none of your friends see where you hide! Make sure there are a lot of hiding spots and that it is a safe place to run around. If a friend has a large backyard, you could play flashlight tag in an area away from street lights or porch lights. If you know a playground will be open after dark, consider playing there. You can also play indoors with the lights off. This works best in a big, open room, like a furnished basement without too much furniture.
Be careful playing around heavy furniture or household items that could break. Gather a group of people and some flashlights. Team flashlight tag is best played with a lot of people. You may also want to set a rule to employ if batteries do run out. Be sure to split the group into two even halves, with approximately the same number of people on each team. Tag members of the other team until no one else is left.
To tag someone, a person should sneak up on a member of the other team and shine the flashlight on them. Otherwise, another person hiding in the area might see you and run away. However, if a game is taking too long, you can always agree that, after a certain point, the 'it'-team loses.
For example, give the 'it'-team an hour to locate all the players before they lose. Keep the field of play away from the campfire and tents. If you're playing flashlight tag while camping, make sure to keep the field of play safe. Do not play too close to the campfire and tents. You do not want to risk getting burnt by the fire, or accidentally knocking down a tent late at night. Use dim flashlights and avoid laser pointers.
You should play flashlight tag with somewhat dim flashlights. You do not want to be shining bright lights into other player's eyes, as this can cause eye irritation. Laser pointers can be extremely harmful to eyesight and even cause temporary blindness. Freeze tag was great and TV Tag was a personal favorite, if only because I knew a lot of television shows. The person about to be caught would yell out a television show name to make themselves safe.
The cool kids would yell out The Simpsons or Beavis and Butt-head. I would relegate myself to Diagnosis: Murder, Price is Right and Nash Bridges.

You know, old people shows. There was one form of tag that went past the school yards and into the streets. It was a hybrid mixture of two amazing games: It was tag's badass older brother that let you hang out in his room. Manhunt was the game, and it was the best. Fall was the best time to play. This is because it's not too cold where you need a big, poofy jacket and it wasn't too warm where you overheated yourself. Once you get into middle school, tag seems juvenile but manhunt is still acceptable.
There were two rules for manhunt:
