Content is pasted together haphazardly.
Writing styles change constantly, and almost none of them are good. The chapter on "technology in air freight" is a masterpiece, with the self-proclaimed "old-school"-and-definitely-not-a-"grumpy old man" author studiously failing to predict the recent past in computing. In one chapter, an entire subsection is repeated verbatim. As I was reading I considered keeping a file of particularly menacingly-bad quotes, but it quickly became apparent that due to the sheer volume of candidate material curating such a list would consume far more time than reading the book itself.
Mostly I texted them to my friends and yelled a lot into empty rooms.
