Pink Floyd added a 'deflated' pig to Roger Waters's auction of animation art from the film The Wall at Christie's London on 21 September , the lot was withdrawn before the auction started. During the tour, two warthog -like pigs with protruding tongues were shown at the top of the stage side's speaker towers, sometimes just deflated, sometimes dropped on the ground after " One of These Days ".
The pig made another appearance before the release of Echoes: One damaged inflatable pig, believed to be from the Pink Floyd tour, was repaired by Nga Keith and flown again over a concert by the band The String Cheese Incident in Austin, Texas on 20 September During their Live 8 reunion with Waters, footage of Algie, over Battersea Power Station, was shown on a giant video screen behind the band.

I live in central Iowa near Fort Dodge, originally from eastern Iowa and a more urban environment, and "Edna" nailed an aspect of the rural attitude and world of central Iowa. Especially the tradition of male domination which seems to have persisted longer in rural areas. It seems to take a while for modern thinking to spread to all reaches of the country. It was funny, affirming, and touching to hear her descriptions of the farming characters.
I just really enjoyed reading th I loved this book. I just really enjoyed reading this, had hard time putting it down, and loved the ending.
The book had many typos, but that seems to be more common these days. I love the humor, the healing, the emotion, the growth, the adventure, the "it's such a small world" connections, and the interplay between characters of very different worlds.
