The rooms are very small, no proper way of communication from room to main reception. The room was not completely clean, I found trash under the bed from former guest.
The toilet and shower had a glass wall with a curtain on the outside. Not very private, especially since I travelling with a friend. The design was cool, the hotel was comfortable, the bar and restaurant were very good, the shower was very good despite the visibility. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent food, great location, great shower. Prices at the bar were a bit overpriced, but overall it was a great place to be. The room was nice, comfortable, and clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful guiding us around and suggesting places where we could go for a drink or dinner.
Great location and it fits very well for seasoned travelers. The powerful shower in the bathroom is superb.
Bar area very noisy. Super cool place, nicely designed with attention to details I'm looking at you, cat napkins. Hi Rachel, I have a similar problem! Teachers are good at speaking slowly and with vocab they know we have a chance of understanding. Getting out there involves talking with people who use slang, talk quickly, and often have accents. I found using Pimsleur helped me with commonly-used phrases that help me pick up more in conversation. In addition to that, I believe that the secret is just to continue to get out there and talk with people.
