I shall not die, but I shall live, and recount the deeds of the Lord. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned—. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live,.

Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on. And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
