The focus is on the relationship and security that Tamir has with Vidar. Tamir is such a sweet cute guy I feel bad that society has cast him aside and made him feel as if he was worthless and not worthy of love. That is why I squeed when Vidar came into the picture. How he saved Tamir from this world of blackness and showed him love and understanding was so beautiful.
He was patient and kind to What I loved most about this book is that although Vidar is a vampire, that is not the primary focus. He was patient and kind to Tamir. Allowing Tamir to gain strength and confidence from him as Tamir worked out that is was okay to be who he was and that he should embrace it and not be ashamed. Vidar does have a bad side but Tamir tamed that. Tamir should Vidar love and goodness. Showed him that he is worth love and happiness. That he has good and can be the man Tamir believes he is.
This changes Vidar and he sees love for the first time as something to hold onto. Even in the horrible aftermath of the police coming to the house, these two hold out hope for each other that they will be together again. That love will conquer all things and bring them together. Their faith in each other is what brings this story to completion.
A beauty story on how the faith of love changes those around you and changes you. How it makes you complete and feel safe. A wonderful read that will have you rooting for these two to be together forever.

Although I do love the way the author portrays the healing saliva of Vidar and the way he looks while in blood-lust.
I did enjoy the plot, but the wording and characters at times confused me. I am confused as to why Vidar didn't just tell the police the truth in the beginning and avoid all the issues that followed. I am also not a Vidar fan at all because of his abusive nature, while I understand being a vampire is probably a very emotional affair, the abuse is unacceptable. I did like the character Amanda and I wish there had been more interactions with her and the guys, as it appears that Tamir feels she is a very good friend. The intimate scenes in this book are pretty well written and will make you fan your face a little. I enjoyed the book mostly, I only wish it were a tad more believable. I love how they take care of the cops and I suppose live happily ever after, but I wonder at the way it ended, is there to be another?
Perhaps to show us what has happened after all this mess? Overall I would rate this book in at three stars. You can see Vidar is a very powerful vampire, with advanced age. Tamir was found by Vidar in a strange situation. A little after that the police is after him. Had he committed any crime?
Vidar found Tamir nearly dead, all bloodied. He takes care of him and takes him home. From there they become lovers.
Vidar is extremely jealous at first, but Tamir manages to change his attitude. Tamir feels comfortable and secure in Vidar's company and so he does not bother to leave the house.
I loved how Tamir stood up for others, even against his saviour. Blood fetishism think sadistic toys and blood letting, not gothic dress-ups and blood drinking is actually referred to as haematolagnia. Months later Vidar takes him to a romantic dinner and then introduces him to his "sister". Months later Vidar takes him to a romantic dinner and then introduces him to his "sister". When their romance was going well, the police show up with a mandate looking for Tamir, claiming that Vidar had kidnapped and kept him in private jail. Only then Vidar discovers who Tamir is They go through a difficult situation and only then Tamir discovers that his lover is a vampire. The plot is interesting but I think the story happened in a very fast pace, giving too much emphasis on the sexual part. I liked the characters and I think they deserved their story to be told with more detail.

Tamir is a bit timid and shy but quickly warms Tamir just wants to die, tired of trying to survive on the streets after his family threw him out after finding out he was gay. Tamir is a bit timid and shy but quickly warms up under Valdir's care. Valdir is confident and goes after what he wants, even when others try to keep them apart. He always has the best interests of his "cica" in mind and does everything he can for him.
The two together are a hot sweaty mix and their intensity steams up the pages. Where I found the story lacking was the details, I enjoyed the baseline of the story, but wished there was more information about the characters and the supernatural element. Good novella for an afternoon read. Feb 01, Jonel Boyko rated it really liked it. It makes you think, wonder, and feel. Avario combines the realities of stereotypes with the wonder of the paranormal in its darkest sense. His descriptions paint a dark picture to the world, while giving a sense of a light at the end of the tunnel.
I found myself rooting for the characters. They were living and struggling to survive against so many cultural stereotypes that are all too prevalent today. They were such different individuals, yet at the same time, so sure they were right. I loved how Tamir stood up for others, even against his saviour. It was human nature shining though at its finest. Throughout this novel Avario had me hooked. I found myself pushing forwards, needing to know what would happen next. This was definitely a one of a kind read. Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.
Regretfully my notes on this book are short and I have very little memory of what the book was about. However, I did rate the book two and a half stars, and that may say more than I need to remember. The Urban Dictionary term traces obviously its origin through "hematophagy" and its etymology. Wikipedia has a good description of human hematophagy, which covers the consumption of human blood as well as the blood of other creatures.
This and especially its variants is actually a zoological or medical term, and it is more often associated with animals other than humans. While the terms "bloodsucker" and "leech" also work with respect to people, they are not usually meant literally. By the way, the mental disorder for blood drinking is Renfield's Syndrome see Psychology Today.
Both haematophage and sanguinarianism refer quite specifically to the consumption of blood. But the question asked whether there was a word for someone who loves blood, not for someone who eats or drinks it. Like bibliophile book-lover , dendrophile tree-lover , or paedophile child-lover , haemophile is actually technically correct, but because of its usage medically it is obviously problematic to use haemophile in this context.
Now I usually see people who generally are enamored by blood referred to as blood-fetishists. Blood fetishism think sadistic toys and blood letting, not gothic dress-ups and blood drinking is actually referred to as haematolagnia. They may love the taste, or they may love the smell, the colour, the texture — maybe they just get hypnotized and enthralled every time they see blood. Thank you for your interest in this question.
