It is a pretty solid lineup of romantic songs on paper.
On record it is a wash because all of the songs are here in their re-recorded versions. The originals would be too costly for a label like St. Clair to procure, so the next best thing is to round up a bunch of songs like Edison Lighthouse 's "Love Grows Where My Rosemary Goes " and Climax 's "Precious and Few" that appear on quite a few other collections of lame re-recordings and hope nobody notices the difference.
Anyone unlucky enough to pick up this disc should console themselves with the thought that a lot of other people made the same mistake, otherwise why would all these fly-by-night labels be putting out collections like these? Please avoid this disc and every other one like it.

Falling in love feels delicious, there is no question about that.
However, it can raise our emotions to such a height that it prevents us from seeing the greatness and the restrictions of what we feel. If we overcome this obstacle without trauma, the true path to love begins. The metaphor of the tree is a useful one. It shows that something magnificent and grand can grow from a tiny seed, and that the destiny of everything that lives is to grow and reach for the sky. The tree, once mature, has flowers and fruits which put forth new seeds so a new growth can begin, a new story.
So too, is love. Once it germinates, nothing can stop it.
It will continue growing and bearing fruit, re-initiating the cycle forever. As love expands, you will see that it is like an oak or cherry tree. Do not hope to keep it the same forever, exactly the opposite.
Every day something is going to change and, even if it dies, it is not dead: If we truly love, we do so forever. Parents love their children and children love their parents, even if they are not together, even if they have died. Friends love each other in good times and bad. Siblings love each other, whatever vicissitudes may present themselves. They love each other, even when they hate each other.
And maybe forever is the only real thing we would never afford so we made a new version of it that we can use to describe the extreme feeling at that certain time. Except ours — the manmade forever, what we think forever is — has an expiration date, and can be gone even in the most intense moments of our lives. The words we often say, so often that we never notice that the meaning has begun to be nullified.
And so it boils down to us, those of us who are in love with sugarcoating. Then forever is gone.
We promise forever for a long night where the moon stands along the stars knowing in a few hours, the sun will shine and they will fade. And forever is gone again.

We swore that forever will be forever but we just always watch it end.
