From one to the other as their humour was: Thus it befell that they had gone a day. Or ever his parents knew the Child astray. Inquiring among kinsfolk and acquaintance,. They hurried, anxious, up and down the camp. Couched round the evening fires ; This mother wept,. Blaming herself for holy trust betrayed ;.

The past was plain, but the great Feast looked on: His teachers found their settled thought perplexed,. Opened new, simpler meanings ; while, unconscious,. He brought fresh thought to bear on time-worn themes,. And showed how their stale words of letter-lore. Looked, quickened by the Spirit. Came to these pedant doctors as they asked,.
New wine into old bottles pours He,. And brings Messias to our very door! But Jesus became our Savior and paid the debt for us. He died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. How can I know He can save me? Jesus wants to be your personal Savior of the World. God wants every person to be reconciled with Him through Jesus. Our Savior also cautions us in Luke Call on Him and ask for forgiveness of your sins.
Accept Jesus as the Son of God who died for your sake. Take His outstretched hand and let Him show you the promises He has for you today and forever. Let the verses of Revelation And Jesus Christ healed all of them. Not some… but all. That is what the gospels state very clearly. If we look at the life of Jesus Christ, it is obvious that he is far more than a teacher, leader or prophet. He said things only God could say and he did things only God could do. This makes it clear that indeed, Jesus is God. Therefor the only way we can become children of God, is through Jesus Christ.
Some critics desperately want to escape from Jesus Christ by claiming he never existed. That is nonsense of course, because even our era is based on his birth. Think of it… we live in the 21th century… since the birth of Jesus Christ. His life is the very cornerstone of our calendar! There are more Bibles on earth than that there are people. Every year more than half a billion bible portions are distributed on earth! The existence of Jesus Christ is better documented than that of many great names from history think of Julius Caesar , Alexander the Great , etc.
Not only the Bible speaks about him, there are lots of other historians that wrote about him. Saying he never existed is just silly. The most significant thing about Jesus Christ is that he came back to life after he died. His resurrection is one of the best documented facts of history with more than five hundred eye-witnesses. This is the greatest difference between leaders of all religions and Jesus Christ. All of them are dead, buried and eaten by the worms.
Jesus Christ is not dead, he is alive! Not only did Jesus Christ rise from the grave, he said that it is Gods will that all who believe in him will receive everlasting life with God:. Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life. Jesus Christ did not come to us, to bring another religion. But that is not what he wanted.
He explained that people cannot come to God in their own strength. Our religious or spiritual efforts are not able to give us a new heart. You cannot change yourself by a religion, lifestyle or philosophy. Jesus Christ said that we had to be radically transformed, by the new birth. If you humble yourself under Gods mighty hand and acknowledge that you need Jesus Christ to be your savior, who forgives your sins, then the Holy Spirit can come into you and give you this new birth.
You literally will become a new person, from the inside out, by a miracle of God in you.
You will become a child of God and he will embrace you forever in his loving arms. That is why the evangelist John says about Jesus:. So Jesus Christ did not come to make us religious. No, he was even murdered by the religious leaders of his time, because he was so un-religious! Jesus Christ came to save us from our sins and make us children of God. That is totally different from all the founders of religions. They brought a certain philosophy, a way of life through which a person has to try to come to God by their own efforts.
That is the ultimate difference between Jesus Christ and religion. That is why Jesus Christ is so important. Jesus Christ let himself be slain like a sacrificial lamb and let his blood flow for the forgiveness of your sin. That is why John the Baptist said, when he saw Jesus pass by:. So, who is Jesus? He is not a prophet or a wise leader or anything else people like to call him.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the answer of God to a lost world. God loves the world so much, that he was willing to become a man himself and die for us. He took our place and payed the price for our sins by dying as an innocent lamb. Jesus Christ made it clear that the only way we can be saved from our sins, and this evil world, is by believing in him. Someone who is forgiven and cleansed. He will give you a new name, a new future, a new hope, a new calling. He has dreams over you, just like any father has over his children.
Many people want to be saved their own way. That is nothing else but pride. And this pride is the core sin of every human being. No, when you believe in Jesus Christ and put your trust in him, with all your heart, then he will come to you and make you a brand new person, a child of God forever. If you feel that God is speaking to your heart through this article, then I want to encourage you to make the most important choice in your life:.
Step into his light and receive his eternal life.
