It took a long time to forgive but this was what I asked my Lord and Savior to show me for me. I don't think I'll ever understand him. I guess you could say I was stubborn I like determined , blinded and in denial of his behaviors.
I wanted it to work. I had already gone through two previous divorces.
This time was different, he was different than anyone I'd ever been with. We were friends, he was my mentor, teacher, advisor, he was my rock when my son was diagnosed with Leukemia. When I fell in love with him, I trusted, gave without reservation and loved unconditionally. Or at least if I am, I'm in good company.

If Stella Maddox inspired me to write the story of my affair, I can honesty say that Lisa Arends has inspired me to write the story of the aftermath. I enjoyed this book very much and I think many people in many situations will find much to take away from it.
