This book was so funny in how things were said, I was laughing out loud. I found the story to be very entertaining, engrossing, and most of the characters were endearing. The super those in their 80s seniors show that even though you may have an advanced age you can definitely still get into trouble. The author provided me with a complimentary copy of this audiobook with no expectation of a review. Another fast read that I couldn't put down. I stayed up way too late listening to this book. As is typical with all of the Lady Justice books, there was plenty of witty one-liners, comedy, and drama to keep you on the edge of your seat. However, this book Walt and Ox had more cases to solve than usual and this time they had help from some concerned senior citizens in addition to Walt's merry band of misfits. There was also a brief trip down memory lane when Walt reprised one of his undercover assignment personas.

I keep thinking that Mr. Thornhill won't be able to top the book I just listened to and then I'm pleasantly surprised when he proves me wrong every time. This is one of my all-time favorite series and I can't wait to see what's next! I enjoy these stories, Lady Justice is awsome! I think the best one yet. I can just see Walt dressed like a chearleader. This story really hits a cord I'm sure with everyone who reads it.

This book ranks in the middle of all the books i have listened to so far. Overall it was good, but there were a few parts that seemed to either drag on the story a bit more than really needed, but it was an enjoyable story. Who was your favorite character and why? I love all the Characters but really enjoy the lady that takes care of his business that he picks up to help with pumpkins. I can't remember her name, i am horrible with names, but i absolutely love her! I am not sure since i haven't read any of the hard copies of this series, but i really enjoy his inflections of Character voices.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry? I did laugh quite a bit during this book. This book offers a lot of the old gang, and has a really humorous scene where the whole crew gets together at a gym to catch a thief. These are some of my favorite scenes! In true Thornhill fashion you get to hear two sides of the story. First we get the viewpoint of 3 old friends who decide to seek justice for victims of a drug lord named Hector. We hear their inner dialogue as they wrestle with getting help from the cops Walt and trying to save the day themselves.

It's interesting to see how a civilian handles injustice. The second viewpoint is of course Walt, as he and Ox try to use the clues and catch Hector. This is the main plot story and it's very compelling to understand the horrors of drug trafficking yet done in a way that isn't too heavy. The final storyline is about Walt going back to his high school 50 year reunion and all that comes with introducing Maggie to his old life.

A lot of fun was had there too. This year will be my 40th class reunion and I hope it is nothing like Walt's 50th class reunion: Once again George Kuch does a wonderful job of narrating this book. Robert and George are a great combo. Can't wait to find out what the next adventure for Walt will be.

I still need to watch the video that is mentioned at the back of the book. I love the pics that were included in the book. The Three Amigos were an added bonus in the book. The fact that the main characters are not even of middle-age, but elderly adds that establishment of wisdom in old age, the idea that growing old means accepting your limitations and still being a fan of living life to the fullest.
