Damn, she doesn't want to be jealous or envious It is just how in the hell is she supposed to find her guy; she works crazy hours- loving it yes, but still long hours. She has no patience for idiots and doesn't feel she is too picky As she is out maneuvering another Aunt telling her to open her horizons, she turns to get another needed drink and slams into a wall of MAN.
He truly was a great dad that always put his son first. They really had my temperature rising. It would totally ruin the realistic feel of the book and I wouldn't have even touched it. I love the Nixon sisters, how they are all supportive of each other. In this story of the oldest Nixon sister, Jillian, we catch up with her as she prepares to deal with the dreaded drilling of family and friends about her personal life at the wedding of one of her sisters. But it just didn't give me the "feels" like the blurb made me thing it would Live from the Royal Albert Hall.
Once she is able to get her bearings, she looks up only to see it is Levi Ok, this needs explaining But the two of them chatted, then flirted and then had the best utility closet sex ever! The scent of PineSol was in the air and the dirty words Levi whispered to the back of her neck were things that caused both of them to never forget. Seeing him here was a bit shocking but not unwelcome. As they both start to talk She also learns of him being a single parent to an autistic son.
They both continue to chat with more and more sparks flying and although Levi is called away from the party, he makes time to ask Jillian if he could get her number to follow up He pulls away, they say good-bye It is later that night, both are thinking of what was in that closet oh those years ago and what just happened They start off a bit flirty, then more, then much-much-more and then a very, very hot sexting finishes off their "talk".
This story takes you on a journey which could be real. People have responsibilities, are single parents. And with being a single parent, there are real scars which can color how you see yourself. How you think you need to be. How you may not think you will be able to have any other relationship except the one with the child you love and care for.
Because you need to be the best parent possible.
Levi has all of that as well as other conditions to handle. His Scotty is loving and also needing a routine. Any change cause problems. At 8, Scotty is having to adjust to new kids at school, teachers who are having difficulty making accommodations for him and any other thing which may come up. Levi caries a lot of guilt and is sensitive to the comments from his family. They mean no harm but they didn't raise an autistic son Levi and Scotty have their own way of coping Will Levi be able to make the changes needed for Jillian to be part of his life This book had just the right tone of seriousness with an overlap of sexy, sexy times, talk and just the bliss of being in love.
If you can find someone half as "talented ah,hmmmm" as Levi You will be a very happy camper. She handle the situation exactly as needed and it all paid off big time. Melanie Harlow was at the top of her game with this book and series. In my opinion she had it all right It is a series which will delight. How can I explain my love of this series Well, when Melanie Harlow is on a roll Has all the oars in the water I cannot stop talking about how much I love her stuff All you need to to do is read my reviews for Frenched, Floored and the other books in this series.

If you want a melt-your-heart, sugary sweet and simply adorable read, then Some Sort of Love is for you. Jullian is a thirty-something doctor.
She has the life and career she wants, but no man in it. I loved Jillian, I found her sweet, compassionate and level-headed. I wanted to be her! I loved her heart and I love her family, her sisters are super cute to read. Levi is a thirty-something architect. I know can you heart melt even more? Jullian and Levi have chemistry. The banter is cute and I love the exchanges they have with each other.
But Levi has reservations. Jullian is very understanding and I love the open and honest conversations they have with each other. The thing I love about this book is the writing style. There was zero angst, but good mild tension to keep you interested. I found the book really realistic and it just hit all the right spots. You will have a smile on your face from first and to the very last page.

I liked their conversations and sexting! I liked how close they were with their family! AnD I enjoyed how vivid their hot and dirty sex sc "4 Jillian pie stars" This book was pretty great! AnD I enjoyed how vivid their hot and dirty sex scenes were described! My God I was all hot and bothered with the things he did to her Ok let's get into the story: Jillian was a 30 year old smart, funny with a great job and an amazing family but she was kind of lonely because she couldn't find her prince and the happily ever after like her sisters and of course it didn't help that everyone point out she was getting older and the clock was ticking!
That's family my friends!!! Love it or leave it!!! I'll take one tall, dark and handsome with a steady job and a good sense of humor-oh, not the six-inch, the footlong. I wish we could pick them like that! He was an amazing dad trying to do what was best for his son while leaving his needs aside until a tall brunette with blue eyes from his past fall all over him out of the blue! He was the sweetest, hottest and dirtiest caveman Just wanted to tell you again how glad I am your clumsy ass ran into me tonight.
Can't stop thinking about you. His son was his life and he was really harsh on himself when something went wrong with him, and it broke my heart that he couldn't believe what a great daddy he was! He was scared that he was disappoining everybody around him including his son, that's why he didn't let Jillian in his son's life because he was afraid that she would see he wasn't enough and she deserved so much more and decide to leave him.
But Jillian was there for good and wanted to meet Scotty too, because they were a package! And Scotty was the sweetest little boy! Dear Jillian I hope you say yes. You make daddy smile.
I want you to lose control. I want you to fuck me like you can't hold back. That gorgeous mouth, saying those filthy words. You're making me crazy.
I'll fuck you as deep and hard as you want me to. I'll even make it hurt,so it will feel that much better when I make you come again. I want my cock right there. I want to bury myself inside you so deep it hurts. Just the way you like it. It makes this moment, when I first get inside you, that much sweeter. View all 17 comments. Levi is a single dad to a son with autism. He doesn't have much time for himself, let alone women and dating. When his one-night stand from college, Jillian, runs into him at a wedding, life is turned upside down. He doesn't have time for a relationship but he can't fight the way he feels about Jillian. The chemistry between these two was seriously hot! I adored Levi and his dirty mouth. I think this author did a spectacular job writing about a single dad to a special needs child - Levi was an amazing father who always put his sons needs first. I loved this book and it's a top book of !
I can't wait to read more by this author!!! View all 24 comments. Jan 31, Paige rated it really liked it Shelves: The Nixon sister's are finding love one by one and I've been waiting to see the oldest sister, Jillian, finally find the perfect guy to get her out of her comfort zone and make her feel as crazy in love as her younger sisters. And when Levi unexpectedly comes back into her life, Jillian's perfectly laid out life gets thrown out the window but something much better takes it's place: Levi and Jillian had a quick romp in a broom closet when they were in college.
Fast forward a dozen years and they meet again at Jillian's sister's wedding. Even though their one encounter was so long ago, neither has ever forgotten that night. But life has moved on. Jillian is finally a doctor and working long hours while Levi has a special needs son and a life that revolves around his needs. But neither can nor do they want to deny the pull and they start a tentative relationship.
But Levi has a past that lends him to believe that he can't have both. Jillian just needs to make him believe he's wrong but isn't sure how to do it. With her trademark wit and steam, Melanie has written another winner. I loved the deep passion and devotion Levi and Jillian had together. I adored Levi's steadfast hold on fatherhood and his unwavering loyalty to helping his son.
Jillian was patient and loving and gave Levi everything he needed. Of course their relationship wasn't without its hurdles, but watching them overcome them made it that much more beautiful in the end. Plus getting to see two of my favorite couples play out their HEA was the icing on the already delicious cake. Feb 09, Michelle rated it it was amazing Shelves: I even had to message Melanie and let her know that I am banging my head as to why I didn't start this series earlier because after reading this third installment, I am seriously addicted.
More like obsessed with anything relating to the Nixon ladies. The way she took me in so deep, the expression on her face a mix of rapture and pain. The way she moved her hips over mine, in rhythmic, undulating motions that had me fighting the urge to come inside a minute. Right off the opening pages, I felt Melanie Harlow really knew how to capture her readers attention when she presented such vulnerable, raw, and honest characters.
I love when an author can capture the hearts and tug all the right emotional chords of her readers and Melanie Harlow did just that and more. She allowed her readers to see a young intelligent single 30 year old woman trying to find the person that is right for her. And also a young single father juggling work and his parental duties to his son. I honestly don't want to say much in this review because the beauty of this story is experiencing the ups and downs of dating and being in a relationship.
And the dating world and beginning stages of romance can be fun but it also can be a reminder that it's all about finding that balance and love in your life.
What I especially loved about the story of Jillian and Levi is that we get two adults who knew that this connection between them is just right. They fit perfectly for each other emotionally and sexually. And as scary as any relationship can be, it's about taking that leap of trust to have that person enter your life but also your children's life. And for Levi, his fear and honesty was so welcoming because it allowed readers to see him so vulnerable. Vulnerable to guilt, fear, and a second chance to love. I loved his sense of humor and his dirty mouth and his concern about being a gentleman.
And maybe it was superficial or sexist, but I loved how tall he was and the way he carried me around and took command of my body—it made me feel beautiful and feminine and cherished. And I loved the way he loved his son with all his heart—even if it meant there was less of it for me. I loved that Ms. Harlow stripped down Levi for readers to see a single father who is just trying to be a good father.
A father who is trying to balance and work through the needs of his autistic son. A father who feels guilty at times. And most importantly, a man just trying to find the balance and happiness in his life. And throughout this journey of finding the balance, I loved that Ms. Harlow allowed us to see that everyone is flawed and no one is perfect. Every relationship has its ups and downs. And just like Levi and Jillian who were trying to find that some sort of balance in their life, it's all about compromise and learning to let go of that fear.
And for Levi Brooks, his some of sort of love was the girl who made him feel alive. It was from feeling alive— fucking bursting with it. I felt like I could scale a mountain, swim an ocean, slay a dragon.
"Some Kind of Love" is a song by American rock band The Killers for their fifth studio album Wonderful Wonderful (). It was released on September 15, [Verse 1] You got the will of a wild. A wild bird. You got the faith of a child. Before the world gets in [Chorus] You got some kind of love. You got.
It struck me how empty sex had been during the last few years, just a release of tension and nothing more. With her fun, sexy, and playful storyline, Melanie Harlow definitely knows how to deliver a happy crazy love story!!! Submit a new text post.

I told him the story about the dream, and it was pretty funny. He gave his seal of approval, and he likes it. I played that for her, and she just sobbed.
But I'm proud of that one. Rolling Stone 's Rory Crow described the song as "an almost ethereal meditation on love". Credits adapted from Tidal. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Synth-pop dream pop art pop.
