Paradise Valley community college is filled with opportunity. The professors genuinely care about each individual's success. There are various courses to choose from and a very diverse array of students to mingle with. For me, the whole "college thing" seemed like a little too much for me straight out of high school, but PVCC made me feel right at home because of the endless support from faculty and peers.
I would recommend this school to any, and every body! I have only been here for one semester, but so far it's good! I think Mathlab is a waste of money and could be used towards paying my classes because I learn nothing from it. So far the professor's I have are excellent, but I've only had 4 so far.
The environment is lovely, the people feel so determined and so happy to be getting their career started. I love the different age groups because it makes me feel good that no matter what age you are, you can go back to school and do anything you want.
In my 21 years, after a couple years in community college prerequisites, fitness sciences, nutrition courses, personal training and customer service occupations, combined with my grandfather's quadruple bypass surgery and health issues of family and clients, I realized my excitement was healthcare. From the minute I walked into the Administration building, the environment, campus and upbeat positive vibe and energy was as welcoming as my mom had described it from 30 years ago!
I knew instantly Respiratory Therapy was for me. I am so excited to start classes this fall. There are small class sizes, cheap tuition, and most classes transfer.
The small class sizes really allow the teachers to focus directly on students to ensure their understanding. The tuition is extremely cheap and will allow any college student the opportunity to eat food other than ramen. The fact that many of the core classes transfer over to other colleges is a god send. Before you go to a university go to a community college first!

The classes sizes are generally I have been at Yavapai for 5 semesters now. It has been nice because you go and do what you have to do and you leave.
Most teachers are great, and they are very helpful. I have taken many online classes and I find those to be very convenient because I work, but I noticed that I actually learned a lot! I will be starting the nursing program in the spring. The nursing program has a great reputation in Arizona, and it's one of the best! This college is amazing. I have learned so much! I was accepted into Texas A and M university but, I decided to go here. Best decision of my life! I had a sat and 3. They really look out for students here and, I appreciate that. The campus life is thriving!
Everyone is friendly and, looks out for one another. The teachers are incredible. I can get any job I want just because of my degree. There are so many things that I love about Gateway Community College.
Let's just start by mentioning there remodeled building. The IE building provides many helpful studying resources for students. From day one, the staff on campus showed a genuine interest towards future students. So far, I love Coconino Community College! The environment and people are so friendly. The fact that the campus is small allows you to interact more with the students around you. Almost like how it use to be in high school! It's not for everyone. I've gone to a university and I feel like it has a lot more distractions than a community college would.
