Virginia and Guido have taken every bit of care that we had everything we wanted. Last but not the least, their cats are just too cute. They have been very good companions all the time we were home. I would highly recommend this place. It was lovely to spend the last night of our holiday with Virginia. She and her partner are super friendly, relaxed and helpful.

Ci ritorneremo sicura mente! We stayed for four days in Massimo's flat, it is a very cute suite. We had everything in the house that we needed, and a cabinetry full of everything for breakfast. The flat was very clean and Massimo and his family were really nice to us. The flat is close to a supermarket, it is very good located as well, 20 minutes by walk to the city center and the see. I would recommend this place if you want to stay in a good located, nice and clean airbnb. Thank you Massimo for your hospitality! Massimo's and Angela's place is fully equipped. We are very satisfied with our stay there. I recommend it strongly. The location is very nice with a supermarket very close. These place is typical bohemien lifestyle. It was full of charme, cozy and an old building with local and artful intirior. Alessandra and her family are very welcoming. They helped fast, if you have questions or something doesnt work and you can have very interesting talks, while sitting downstairs in the yard. We're very thankful for being there and had a great time. We had a wonderful time at Alessandra's and Pablo's place! After having been welcomed very friendly we were amazed by the beautiful apartment and the nice neighborhood and Livorno.

The sea, city and nature are all very near, which is quite special. We didn't have a car but moving around with public transport worked out very well, there is a small bus just in front of the house and frequent buses to the centre. We thank Alessandra and the family again for this opportunity. The view from the sun room is beautiful.

Alessandra, Pablo and their family were wonderfully welcoming and we felt as if we were coming to stay with friends. The location is great if you want to visit historic Livorno. We used it as a starting point to explore nearby Pisa and it was very convenient. We would highly recommend coming here. Alessandra and her family are great hosts! Its hardly a ten minute drive to the beach, and you can walk it in minutes. We arrived late at night after an 18 hour trip and Alessandra's partner was there to welcome us and he even called a nearby Pizzeria to make sure they kept their kitchen open for us. Definitely a warm welcome!

And how i miss morning coffee with that beautiful ocean view: Its an amazing place to stay in the middle of nowhere. So we advice to rent a car. Luca is a very social helpful person. We enjoyed our stay very much. Our stay at Luca's house was the best part of our trip in Tuscany!

The house and surroundings were truly beautiful, quiet and a nice escape from busy city life. Luca was an excellent host. He was warm and welcoming to us, cooked for us, and took us to the sea to go swimming. We not only had a lovely stay, but we went away with precious knowledge, and a sense of peace and calm. I would highly recommend Luca's place to stay if you want a peaceful secluded place where you can get in touch with nature. Thank you again Luca!

A real highlight on our trip trough Italy. The house is clean and every detail is "original". Luca is an amazing host with an wonderful view on humanity. Thanks a lot, it was great! Our stay at Luca's was not what we expected. We chose this place because it looked like a fun experience and we saw that there was a bus that came to his house. We expected to go to the beach everyday or easily visit Livorno because of this bus. This is not easily possible. The bus runs from 6 am to 2 pm.

So, if we wanted to go anywhere we had to get on the bus at 6 am and be back at Luca's by 2 pm. If we had a car, our experience would have been much better. I recommend to not choose this place if you do not have a car. The location is very pretty and you feel relaxed in nature. The room is very nice and big. The kitchen is very well equipped. The outdoor shower worked. If you request to eat with them, the meal will be very good. Luca was very generous by picking us up at the train station, bringing us with them to the store, and going with us to the beach so that we had a ride.

They have chickens so sleeping in isn't ideal. It's very hot there so leaving open windows helps, but flies come in. They preserve water and keep the dish water from the sink, which causes a smell. The only option for bathing or showering is an outdoor shower that keeps you from feeling completely clean. If you don't have a car you must either go to the grocery store before you get there or tell Luca that you want to eat every meal with them, for which you will make an "offering" at the end of you stay for. Otherwise, like us, you will go days without a real meal.

You cannot rely on the bus and the walk to the bus stop is not 15 minutes it's between The wifi is slow and only works in the dining room. The type of person that would enjoy their stay here: A car might help to feel less isolation if this is not what you are looking for. But, above all, you will benefit from the company of a true idealistic, inspired person and its amazing adventure called Cafaggio! To reach the seaside and shopping oppotunities, it is recommended to have a car. Luca is kind, generous and fun. I stayed 3 nights at the farmhouse and drove to a couple of beaches, explored Livorno and Pisa. Luca took me to a locals beach on the first afternoon. He gave me a tour of the property- the chickens, bee hives, all the plants and Arra, the sweet dog, and the outdoor shower. It worked fine but I never used it since i went to the ocean each day of my visit.

The roon is clean and spacious with a view of the mountain and the chickens. The shared bathroom and kitchen were also very clean and well stocked. Lucca made dinner for us 2 nights- pasta one night and pork chops on the outdoor grill the second. We shared food, wine and conversation. There is a donation jar in the living room for any food or drink Luca keeps bottles of water since the tap water is non-potable had during a visit. The farmhouse is rustic and not for those who need lots of amenities and to be connected- there is no wifi or connection of any kind, no TV, no private indoor shower.

And the rooster may wake you up in the early morning, but that way you get to watch the sunrise over the beautiful landscape! Luca is a very open, friendly and kind hearted host! He welcomed us with homemade pasta, explained and answered everything and made always sure that we are comfortable. Livorno is a wonderful place to stay. I guess many, like us, will be staying en route to another destination via the port. However, this is a great, relaxing place to spend some time. Not a tourist hellhole like Florence, but a small city with charm and character.

Serena's apartment is a superb place to stay. It is easy to get to from Livorno Centrale railway station, take the number 1 bus, it drops you pretty nearby. The apartment is on a large but peaceful square slightly out of the city centre, very easy to walk to the centre though. There is a Co-op supermarket very nearby. The apartment is large, with two good sized bedrooms, a large kitchen living room, a small but very usable bathroom, and access to a garden, which is a lovely place to sit in the evening. Serena and her husband are lovely, they couldn't be any more welcoming.

They did us a great favour on the day we arrived and the day we left, letting us store our luggage at the apartment well beyond the check-in and check-out times. We will be staying here again on our way back home, and I'm really looking forward to being back. My second stay at Serena's place in Livorno, and it was just as good as the first. Livorno is a lovely place. A nice size, attractive without trying too hard, and not rammed with tourists.

Very handy for Pisa, 20 minutes on the train. Serena and Manuele are fantastic hosts. They made us so welcome. On our last day they showed us around some of the sights of Livorno that we could not get to on public transport, and very kindly gave us a lift to the station. This was in addition to sorting out taxis to the ferry port for our outbound and return journeys.

I would love to stay in Livorno again, and I would not hesitate to stay with Serena. It is a nice place in the center of Livorno. You can also Inside in a little gardenplace. Serena is a very nice person and will help you, If sehr can. Serena's place was in a convenient location and good for a short stay but the place needed some cleaning. We really enjoyed staying at Serena's apartment. Having the garden was great and the apartment is a really good size.

Everything was as it was supposed to be, few things were even better. Patrizia and Vincenzo were very welcoming and friendly, and communication with them was easy and we got understandable directions and additional info whenever we asked. They were also flexible with check-out time which was very handy for us.

When we arrived there, they greeted us with some delicious sweets which was very kind of them. There were also coffee, butter and honey available in the room. Accommodation is situated in a very beautiful part of Valle Benedetta near Liverno which we brifly explored. A few minutes drive from the place you can go up a hill and get a panorama view from Livorno you can get the direction from Vincenzo and Patrizia as we did.

The only minor reservation from our point of view was a need for an upgrade to the shower area and the beds. I would definitely recommend this place. We stayed for 3 weeks during July, and for two people, the appartment is well sized and cozy. The location is great with a restaurant and a very good one at that practically on you doorstep, and the SP5 running next to the house from Livorno up into the Livorno Hills provides easy access to the city and nature.

Also a bit noisy in the mornings, but you get used to that. Spectacular cycling, if you are into that - great hills, beautiful scenery. Great balcony with lots of shade and coolness in the evenings. Our host Patrizia and her daughter Carolina were very nice and easy to get in touch with, and suggested things to do in Livorno and around. All in all, great value for money. We spent 4 days in Vincenzo and Patrizia's house. They are really nice people,the house is include everything what we needed.

Their apartment has everything you will need and even pasta for the dinner. Renato has a laid back and sympathic personality which also made our stay enjoyable. Just a shame that the weather was slightly too cold to sit under his kiwi fruit tree and enjoy the sunrise behind the sea.

Renato is very friendly and understanding. The way to the house is just for small cars The apartment looks bigger on the Fotos and not to recommend for families with children. Yet the apartment is tidy and modern furnished and would be good for two people. We wish Renato the best and good luck. We truly enjoyed staying at Silvia and Renato's place. It was quiet and beautiful and we recommend this for anyone who would like to enjoy a place out of the ordinary beaten track.

The hosts are helpful, kind and responsive to any requests you may have, and at the same time they respect your privacy. They had provided any basic requirements we needed when we arrived. As the place is quite secluded from surrounding light, it is a perfect place to watch the stars - go a little up the drive way and get a perfect view: We had a great stay in Renatos house. The view is amazing and a huge garden. The house is pretty far from the city but if you're looking for a few days of peace like us then this is the Perfect Place! Check in was easy and the hosts very welcoming.

We'd definitely come here again!! Tuscany coast in August is very busy but then this is the perfect location for some peace and quiet between excursions. Renato is a welcoming host and this house is a well hidden gem. Perfect host, nice house with great volumes, nice location near to the beach. Noi torneremo li con molto piacere! Maurizio is the nicest Italian man you will meet. He was super friendly an super helpful when you wanted to go outside of Livorno and explore. The room was great and I felt at home. Super comfortable stay and I would recommend it to anyone.

He was helping us with everything, even in the middle of the night. His place is lovely and very clean. His breakfast tastes great. He also made a sightsseing tour with us. He can tell you everything about Livorno. When you stay at his place you feel home. I will definitly be his guest again. I am sending you my best wishes.

Maurizio is a nice host, check-in time was flexible, which was great, and the apartment is in a convenient location. Recommended not to come by car though, as finding a spot for parking can be troublesome. Maurizio and his wife were very nice hosts! We only stayed in Livorno for one night, so we decided to get to know the small city although Maurizio invited us for dinner which would have probably been the better idea because apparently you need a reservation in almost every restaurant there on saturday.

Very spacious with all facilities needed for a big get together. Location right on the sea front and a short walk into village and train station. Excellent location for seeing the sites of Tuscany. This house is in the most fantastic location - sea views with beautiful sunsets. It has steps down to a private rocky beach and a few spots to watch the sun go down.

Loads of space, well equipped kitchen and the little village is lovely. On s'est sentit chez soi! Franca was incredibly welcoming, and very kind in meeting me from the ferry in a hail and lightening storm! The accommodation is delightful and offers both privacy and the sense of being in a home. Franca was very helpful and friendly. The room looked exactly as shown on the photos. Comfortable bed, private bathroom, kitchen, air conditioning If you look for a place to stay to explore Livorno and surroundings, I warmly recommend Franca's place! I didn't understand that from the apartment description on Airbnb, I was expecting a private back entrance to the lodging. But this wasn't really a big issue since we left early in the morning and came back late in the evening, just to sleep. Even though she doesn't speak much English, Franca is the best host I have had yet! She has stuff available that you wouldn't even think you need.

Shower caps, shower shoes, toothbrush etc. Offers in-room self-service breakfast, the room has a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, sink and utensils. She even gave us a ride to the ferry the morning of our departure. Goes above and beyond for her guests. Franca was very kind and welcoming. She gave me access to come and go freely into her home.

I found her bedroom to be spacious and well kept. The bathroom and bedroom had their own private quarters that could be closed off from the rest of the home. Franca is a really nice person, she welcomed us almost like a members of a family. It was true pleasure to meet her and to stay at her place. We were also allowed to use her beautiful garden, she even went a step ahead made sure we have some privacy and did put some candles on for us: Franca is a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful, the accomodation is very clean, confortable and peaceful.

I definitely recommend this place. There are nice and cheerful restaurant, ice cream parlour and the best panini ever around the corner. Easy acces to the beach with bus.
