I am not the kind of reviewer that gives away spoilers as I feel that you should read a book to get the most out of it, but this series installment was well written, crafted and meticulously thought out, Mr. Williams has built a harsh and unforgiving world in his vision of the Apocalypse that will keep you glued to your reader! This was one that caused more gasps, more vocal out bursts of "how could LOL Each book just wants you begging for more!

Williams takes the post-apocalyptic world into a new direction that gives hope that the uninfected will survive. Children of the Apocalypse came out of the gate at full tilt, combining action, danger and even some well-timed humor, and that was within only the first few pages. The younger survivors are growing up in a world full of terror, death and fear, where one moment of distraction could cost you your life. This is an excellent read if you can handle the very graphic descriptions it contains. After a strong opening it soon slid into a sex centered story. Williams April 19, I would generally like post-apocalyptic themes but this book just didnt made it to my like list. I lived in a fortified Life as we knew it pretty much ended with the lightning fast spread of the plague.

Are these children the hope for the future or will their emotional scars be their downfall? Just when you think there cannot be room for one more post-apocalyptic tale, that there cannot possibly be a fresh take, a new slant, along comes Daniel Williams and his gift for writing that pulls you into the story, wrings out your emotions and has you fist-pumping each victory, while watching each scene unfold. Dark, gritty and filled with tension, fallen heroes make room for the heroes of an unknown future to emerge. For me, each book in this series has dug in deeper to bring the characters and the tale to life, the good, the bad, the moments of tension and the moments of much needed relief.

It's fast paced, easy read and literally non-stop fights, zombies, explosions and more! Very good book Very good book hard to put down Jan 22, Sherry Ewy rated it really liked it. As with all the mace of the apocalypse series this is a great read and would be just as good standing on its own two feet without the series. This is an excellent read if you can handle the very graphic descriptions it contains. It's a great addition to the series, which strong stomached readers who enjoy zombie novels will enjoy.

Great read Want more of this series's will follow Woody in the next book.
