Jan 05, Sarah rated it it was ok. I seemed to have a shorter version of this than the pages stated in the book info. I also didn't read the free chapters excerpt from the end as I have the book in full to read at a later date. I wasn't a big fan of these short stories, don't get me wrong they were readable but the first two were a bit too clean cut fuzzy wuzzy Christmassy even for me which is saying a lot from someone who got married on Christmas Day myself!!! Nov 28, Book-shelf Shelf rated it really liked it. This year Carole Matthews has topped that with 2 short stories which are quite like mini books.
With complete stories that leave you in no doubt how the stories could continue this is a very welcome present from Carole. A lovely treat to pick up this festive season! They are typical feelgood Christmas stories quite well written but a little unforgettable. The e-book also contains the first three chapters of With Love at Christmas. I didn't read these though, so I can't comment on them.

It also contains the 1st 3 chapters of "With love at Christmas", I enjoyed that. Jan 14, Katie rated it did not like it. A series of not very good short stories, each followed by a sample of the author's latest novel. I don't really recommend this - none of the stories were particularly interesting or developed and the last one was particularly disappointing.
Nov 28, Jodie Rose rated it liked it Shelves: This is a good free gift. Two of the three short stories are festive and really quite sweet but the third is really short I literally read it in 5 minutes. You can't really complain though because its free! Dec 04, Literary Chanteuse rated it liked it Shelves: A nice collection of christmas stories that hold a few humorous moments, romance and christmas magic.
Unfortunately I didn't care for the last story as much as the others so it brought my star rating down but overall worth a read this christmas. Nov 27, Zarina rated it really liked it.
The first two stories were suitably festive and very cute. Not sure about the last one though. At only a few pages long it was impossible to get to know the characters and the story itself felt like it was cut off midway by accident. Dec 03, Lynnette rated it liked it. Enjoyable but just a little too short for me to get my teeth into. Really enjoyed reading the excerpt from 'with love at Christmas' so will probably buy that to read soon. Good quick read for anyone who enjoys Carole Mathews novels.
