Though we have our own private transport, we also use public transportation, walk to nearby restaurants and explore off the beaten path. Our travelers pack light and handle their own luggage. While we tour at a leisurely pace, be sure you can walk, climb stairs and manage your own suitcase without assistance before you sign up for a WTT tour. We'd love to offer every tour you can imagine, and on the dates you can go, but the reality is what you see on the web site is what we have, and that includes the spaces remaining on a tour.
We do not charge your credit card when you send the space reservation; it's only charged when WTT confirms you have a spot on the trip. WTT's small groups mean trips fill up fast. When a trip says "Space Available" do not wait It's the fence sitters who lose out! We really should have named the company "Solo Women Traveling Together" because that's in a nutshell what we're all about!
If you are looking for someone to travel with, look no further. Pick where you want to go first. By picking the destination first you are assured that your fellow travelers are as interested in the trip and excited as you are. Are you nervous about traveling solo, or traveling with WTT for the first time?
Once you've taken that first trip you'll wonder why you hadn't done it sooner! It's the diversity of our travelers that adds an unexpected, but wonderful, extra dimension to the WTT travel experience.
No matter what trip you choose, you'll be amazed at how much you have in common with the women you are traveling with. It's that common interest in the destination that creates the initial bond between travelers, makes you feel comfortable in the group, and allows you to learn more about your travel companions as the trip progresses.
When you are traveling with women whose idea of a great vacation matches yours, you're guaranteed to have a good time together! Because a woman travels solo, she mistakenly assumes a single room is her only option. Unless you want to pay the additional cost for a single room, choose "double occupancy" and we'll room you with another solo traveler. Your roommate will be close in age, and you'll have the opportunity to "meet" well in advance of the trip.
While the overwhelming majority of our travelers really enjoy the roommate experience it's important to remember you're not responsible for your roommate, nor is she responsible for you. You'll get to know all the women on your trip, so it's your choice to hang out with whomever you want. You want to try but you are scared? Just give it a try!
Pick where you want to go first. Is it better to go on holiday with family, friends, or alone? I like travel with family because we all know everything for everyone and we don't fight continued. Teaming up with a travel buddy provides an opportunity to establish a lasting relationship, but keep in mind that alone time is always key when spending time with a new companion. One person should pick up one check while the other picks up the next. The stressful times will pass and, hopefully, a laugh will come out of the experience. By the way, the email is free
I am sure that you will get the most precious experience ever in your life. Some people prefer traveling with a group. Independent travel is good because you have to solve all your own problems.
Although being helped may sound appealing, I believe that traveling alone and fending for yourself makes you a stronger person. It gives you confidence. When you travel on a package tour, your schedule is completely out of your hands. For example, you can stay in your favorite place for only 30 minutes or so, which is such a pity. On the other hand, if you travel alone, you can stay in your favorite place for a few days if you want. As well, for example, what if you fall in love with somebody living in a place you visit and he or she wants you to stay longer?
I was supposed to stay there a few days but actually I stayed there for 1 whole week. I met the family when I was eating dinner alone at a restaurant.
They treated me like a daughter and I had a wonderful experience with them. They always invited me home and offered me delicious Mexican food. Also, I study Spanish, so it was good for me to practice my Spanish with them. You need to find your way all alone.
