    What should I at least become familiar with? I speak from experience with USCBP and made it through to the last and final just before eligibility for an offer to academy. Although I passed and I too have nothing to hide regarding my past, they decided to go a different direction and not choose me.

Don't shoot yourself in the foot by underestimating the process of any agency thinking your efforts places you "in the bag".
