It was spotlessly clean, with a flat-screen TV Russian channels only and fast free wifi.

The two problems were: Fortunately I had an eye mask from the plane with me, or else sleeping would have been a problem. Otherwise, it was great.

The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful, though I don't know how much English they knew I know some Russian , which could be a problem for some travellers. I suppose I should mention one other downside, which is the breakfast, served in a neighboring hotel restaurant a few steps away. I tried this only once, and it was not very good at all: On the other hand, there are plenty of good chain restaurants near the Metro for better breakfast at negligible cost, so this was not a major problem.

There is no lift.
