One must read between the lines at times, adding an element of mystique to the stories. I recommend "Stories About Things" to anyone who enjoys short stories that are a bit dark, mysterious, and sometimes mystical.

The stories don't seem linked, some are really strange and abstract, and maybe only one or two that triggered my imagination, although I think I've got my imagination to thank, not the writing. So creepy that I had to stop reading when I hear Jan 22, Amena Sammani rated it it was amazing.
Sad and dark and deep and meaningful all at once.

I'm a book lover and would rejoice having my own book mysteriously returned to me, especially one with my notes scribbled in it. And It Still Works! Now THAT would be a story worth using for am advertisement or a promotion of some kind.
