I have worked here for an Agency a number of months and find if you are English you may as well be a second class citizen, the foreign workers are ill mannered and arrogant and on a number of occasions enabling themselves to work the shifts they want, keeping themselves in work takes president over an English worker.
They will ask for you to come in for a shift and then send you home at the drop of a hat, over booking agency staff just in case one of their own lets them down. I started at 7am arrived on time, yet a foreign worker who arrived late was chosen to work the shift, I was sent home with no explanation given? And this is not the first time that has happened to me. You are never informed when your shift will finish and when you say you cannot work what they want you are looked upon with disdain, This place is back in the Victorian era when rights and conditions were non existent.

Not hard work, but is very cold! It's a big factory with a lot of employees.

We are working in three shifts, a shift is hours. Is not a hard work, but the temperature is very low, maybe degrees. Good place to earn money. Salads to go is a good place where young people can earn a good money it's a peaceful place attitude is okay the pressure isn't big but you need to be a fast learner.
Good work place to start! It is could place with minimum wage. And get biger wage per mouth as show how hard you works. In this work, I met very nice people who taught me proper food cutting, packaging, catch errors. I've become resistant to harsh working conditions, such as cold.
I was often replaced on the production line and sent home so that another polish worker could have work. It was always the english who was sent home and never the other nationalitys.

Why has it taken so long for this to happen. Although I still continue to work here, this job is truly a blessing.
Most days I would be in from as early as 4am- 4pm, then be told that I would have to stay a further two hours 14 hours. It was tiring and not the job for me. I worked the night shift as a cleaner I was cleaning the machines with air hoses and normal water hoses the staff wernt nice at all the the recruitment staff are terrible they call you in and don't give you work it is more ideal for foreigners because the majority of staff are polish.
