Our Heavenly Father knows our beginnings and our end, He understands fully your desires and wants us to be happy. It is good for us to put our trust in him and in his purposes for us here on earth. If we recognise his will and give gratitude unto him always, He will show us how we can accomplish all things that was planned for you and I. The word of God counsels us to be solid in our faith, like a rock, stable and immovable. That we be not tempted by the wiles of the devil who lies in wait to deceive.

The word of God will light your path

That we work towards our salvation by keeping his commandments and living a righteous life, for no unclean thing can enter into the Kingdom of the Father. All the good we do is not in vain, for everything good that we do is acknowledged by the Lord. God loved us so much that he gave His only begotten son Jesus Christ to atone for our sins and free us from the fangs of eternal death. Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the mighty power of His resurrection and through the process of repentance we can be saved from our sins. Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: As we live in a world of tribulation and uncertainty, where hatred and wars and contentions are common and widespread, where disasters and violent catastrophes are abound, there is discouragement, frustration and fear amongst the nations.

We have to fortify our faith, through consistent scripture reading and study, regular prayers and continued service to others. These good deeds will bless us with the capacity to endure trials and challenges because the foundations of our faith have been strengthened.

We will be blessed with that quiet assurance that all will be well regardless of what may happen. Finally, the holy scriptures, when read regularly, will light the way for you. It provides you with the knowledge and guidance for your eternal salvation. It is a light for you to bring you out of the darkness. The word of God provides you with the necessary help to repentance and forgiveness and the remission of your sins.

My sister likes to argue with me. She seems to enjoy proving that she knows more than me. Should I argue back with her? The clerk at the store accidentally gave me three dollars, when all that was due was only two dollars. Should I go back to the store and return the money? We sincerely want to know and heed the wisdom that comes from above! This heavenly wisdom is what the Father revealed to His servants, the prophets, and it is written for us in the Bible. King Solomon urges us, in the book of Proverbs, to give our attention to the Words of Yahuwah: My son, attend to my words ; incline your ear unto my sayings.

The word of God will light your path

Let them not depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. As the above verses teach us, we are to attend to the written Word of Yahuwah, incline our ear to what it says, and continually put it before our eyes! We look to Yahuwah as our power source, and to His Word as our light. We know that without Yahuwah, we can do nothing.

God Himself has condescended to teach us the Way; for this end He came from heaven. He hath written it down in a book. Give me that book! At any price, give me the Book of God! Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true, and its decisions are immutable. Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you , food to support you, and comfort to cheer you. Here too, Heaven is opened and the gates of Hell disclosed. Christ is its grand subject, our good its design, and the glory of God its end.

It should fill the memory, rule the heart and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently and prayerfully. It is a mine of wealth, a paradise of glory, and a river of pleasure. The Bible is given to you in life, it will be opened at the judgment, and be remembered forever. It involves the highest responsibility, rewards the greatest labor, and will condemn all who trifle with its sacred contents.
