    • The new management ruined this wonderful and enjoyable job for me. You usually work your shift alone and are responsible for the entire shop.

    Great product and fun environment. Owner had 5 stores so it was up to each store to keep things successful. They are all shut down now. Great place to work. They were flexible with my schedule. I learned a lot about a point of sales system and customer interaction. My sales skills were also strongly increased. It keeps you on your toes but is a good place to work. Gigi's is a franchised owned company, so I can only speak for my store. I love working here.

    My experience with Gigi's was not a good one because of the management at my location. We were constantly running out of ingredients and regular supplies and would have to take time out of our shift to go to the store so that we could bake that day. On top of that, we always seemed to mess up customer's orders and when I would ask my manager about it they would deny any involvement with the order and refuse to make it right.

    This happened on multiple occasions.

    The work environment was difficult as well because my manager refused to get involved with employee altercations making it very awkward and more stressful than it needed to be. Overall I would not recommend working at this location. Amazing job with amazing people. The people I worked with were amazing and they taught me extremely well. It was great to be able to take pride in my work. The customers were grateful and fun to work with. It was great to be able to come to work everyday at bake and decorate cupcakes. This was a wonderful job for creative people and those who love to bake.

    Fun relaxed , but also fast pasted. You come in do your job if you have down time you want to find something to do. The manager is not too bossy as long as you do your job to the fullest.

Good review, thanks, and the cupcakes look great, but I 'm alwayss leary about buying them from a bakery; they tend to be a little dry. I really prefer to make mine at home.
