The answers he finds are not ones she wants to hear and it sets them up for some very unhappy times. It is a good story, very entertaining and I definitely recommend it. It is a bit steamy in the bedroom, so be aware. It is a good read. A absolutely HATE it when the female says, don't call me, don't text me, don't e-mail me, don't ever try to see me again.
Then after she blocks all his calls and text and doesn't respond to his emails, she thinks to herself OH blow my brains out now. Or better yet, shoot her! I just cannot stand that way of thinking. Then her husband is losing his job, but doesn't talk to her about it. He steals money from her business to take her on trips like he was doing her a big favor then berates her because her business is losing money and of course she is too dumb to run a business anyway and she blames HERSELF for his actions. Then when Ash finds out that her business head is just fine and that her husband was at the bottom of all her problems she blows up at him and questions him as to WHY he wanted to tell her what the problem was.
And lastly, she rants and raves about MEN not thinking she can handle her own affairs which she can't! Yet she was bankrupt and collection agencies were knocking at the door. I really lost all respect for this character toward the end of the book. She was one drama queen. I was not paid for this review. I am not a writer nor do I know one. I am not kin to this author.
I am a reader and this is my opinion, nothing more, nothing less. Ash was beautifully paced.

Violet is a widow who is having a hard time moving on from the death of her husband. Ash is confused by his lingering feelings for Violet after they have an explosive night together. Especially since she had sneaked out of his bed the next morning. Could this mean that Violet is the one that will be able to break through the barriers that he erected because of his hurt-filled past? Violet is also trying to come to grips with a past that she cannot let go of. When her husband died, she lost her best friend and the love of her life.
But there was also a mystery about her husband that came to light that she has a hard time coming to grips with. Will she let him be there for her as she wants to be there for him? This was a sweet book, filled with real life struggles that are sometimes missing in other books. I loved the way the author dealt with the challenges these characters went through and how she was able to help them figure out how to move past them. The angst was subtle, but real. The love was there, but not overwhelming. It was steady as a heartbeat and I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
Then Came You by Iris Moreland: The author, Moreland, seems to be rambling around trying to find a direction to go in. I did not find Moreland doing a good job with this book. She switches from one topic to the next with little focus on character development. Moreland pulls in characters from her other books but does not spend enough time on their connection. For example, Moreland pulls in sisters, Sarah and Megan Flannagan, but leaves the reader wondering too much. Moreland, on first mention of Sarah did not explain whether or not Sarah had another child.
We know she had a son from her first marriage and that Harrison adopted the child. Earlier in this current story, the author made it seem like, three years later, her son was still their only child.
Now, Sarah and Megan are at a jewelry party and Sarah has a toddler author refers to a 1 year old as a toddler on her knees and is asking her sister about Evie. Also, there is no mention of Jewel, the Thornton boys only sisters, who works for Megan in the bakery. This story is going straight to the dogs -- literally. The hero, Ash's, sister,Thea, mention Ash wanting to get a dog.
The dialog between Thea and the heroine, Violet, about a dog that follows was just weird. The author uses basic, basic, cliched language that clashes with the nothingness of the story. There is no relationship building in this story. Most of the dialog is infantile, just lots of empty words. The language is choppy and stilted. There a silly graphic of an engagement ring at the start of each chapter. Moreland can't seem to focus on her protagonists and when she does, they're as far apart as the north and south poles.
During another switch in topic, Ash's sister, Thea, visits him, while Ash is doing some accounting work for Violet. Thea picks up an invoice from the table and looks at it. A clear violation of customer privacy. Does this author not have a grip on privacy issues in business? The last straw for me with this book was Violet's reaction to Ash when Ash informed her that her dead husband had stolen her money. I didn't like Violet's ingratitude toward Ash when he tried to help her. Aug 11, Anum Ahsan rated it it was amazing.
I couldn't figure out how the heroine would get out of the situation she got herself into. Very suspenseful to the end. I always enjoy tracie Peterson's work. I read it in 2 nights! Couldn't put it down! Such a sad feeling when it's over, but I look forward to starting my next Tracie Peterson book! Jul 10, Laura rated it really liked it.
This series as a whole gets a 5 from me. Love Everlasting , the final installment to the absolute charming Brides of Seattle series was a sensational finish. This is most certainly a series that will remain with me for years to come. Granted, Abrianna is not the typical romantic dreamer found in historical romance novels; however, her high-spirited and boisterous demeanor was utterly absorbing and I found her character arc of learning to be vulnerable in love appealing and charming.
I have family and friends who can attest to this! Everything seems to be spinning out of my control. Not only that but for closure, we were also given one last glimpse into the lives of our previous protagonists Lenore and Militine. Particularly the moments where strict gender roles dominated certain situations and society as a whole. In truth, these moments were the ones that saluted the period itself with its precise illustrations.
All things considered, I think what I appreciate most about this series is the atmosphere it exudes — traditional femininity, complex gowns with lace, frills, and ruffles, diplomatic propriety, and strict gender roles. Too, the writing style — it is strikingly exquisite and it presents valuable themes and ideas. I received this book by choice through the Bethany House blogger program. When I chose this book I didn't realize it was the third book in the Brides of Seattle series. I had read the first book, through the blogger program, and found it to be ok but not my favorite.
So once I discovered I had received another book in the series I wasn't sure if I would like the book or not. First, and not having anything to do with the actual book, I didn't care for the description of the book. I didn't feel li I received this book by choice through the Bethany House blogger program. I didn't feel like Abrianna was trying to choose between Wade and Priam. I didn't think she was really left with a choice.
That's all I will say on that matter because I don't want to spoil anything for those who haven't read the book yet. I do feel as if the description should fit the plot better. My favorite part of the book had to be Abrianna and Wade and their love story. I liked the interaction between the two and thought they provided a good balance for each other.
Wade was very level-headed and down-to-earth while Abrianna was a big flighty and head-in-the-clouds. Maybe that is why I enjoyed Abrianna and Wade. They reminded me of two of my all-time favorite characters. Priam Welby is the character you love to hate. His evilness just leaps off the page and makes you hope for the worst for him. OK, maybe I shouldn't say that but it's how I feel. I thought the pace of the story was a bit slow at times and the book seemed too wordy.
I almost got the impression the author was trying to meet a word count and added unneeded filler to the story to get there. I found myself getting bored and not giving the book my full attention. I don't think it is necessary to read the two previous books in the series as this one reads ok as a standalone. If you like to know the backstory of characters then I would recommend reading the other two before this one. I haven't read the second and don't really feel as I missed out. I received a free copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion which I have given.
Oct 21, Jennifer Pickwell rated it liked it. Peterson tells the story of Abrianna Cunningham who has grown up in a bridal school in Seattle in the late 's. While having much experience in preparing for wedded bliss, she lacks the certainty that marriage is the course her life should take. She loves Wade Ackerman, but is afraid that her commitment to him will take away from her purpose in life.
Another suitor, Welby, is after Abrianna's affection. Welby is determined to have his way and uses his power to force Abrianna's hand. My Review First let me say the attempt of Peterson to tell the back story of this novel in the first chapter left me thinking I likely should have read the first two books. I felt lost and a little like I was drinking though a firehouse trying to get caught up. Secondly, for most of the book I was a bit annoyed by Abrianna's wishy-washy personality. I tried to keep in mind that her character was written to be such to make the story make sense, but many times I felt she needed to get over it!
However, I did enjoy the way Peterson gave Abrianna a mind of her own.
Abrianna is a strong and determined woman and I can always appreciate that character trait. I also appreciated the overall plot of this book. Peterson includes enough conflict and excitement into Love Everlasting to keep me turning the pages regardless of my feelings for the main character. Overall, this hasn't been my favorite fiction read this year, but I did enjoy reading it.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book by its publisher in exchange for an honest review. I have not been compensated and all opinions are my own. Oct 19, Liz rated it liked it. As I read this story, I found myself asking questions that are addressed in the second book. Also, reading the first and second books in the series would help the reader appreciate the characters and their relationships. I was so looking forward to reading more of the series after reading the first book, but Ii was disappointed.
I was glad that some of the previous characters returned in this story. It seemed that the story was slow until the climax. She was bright, but too wishy washy in my opinion which was frustration to me. She did not come across as annoying in the first book, but I found her wavering and unrealistic relationship concerns in this book irritating. This was a change in her character from the first book. Her love interest Wade was a great character and longsuffering.
You wanted to see him victorious. The author was successful in giving the story an evil antagonist that you earnestly hoped that he would be defeated. I enjoyed the ending of the story. I would rate this book with three stars. Sep 17, Doreen rated it it was amazing.
This is book three in the Brides of Seattle series. There is so much back story that it would be best if the books were read in order. That said, it was a delight to finally get to this book and see things coming to fruition for Abrianna and Wade. I was a little surprised by the level of turmoil Abrianna experienced. I would expect her to go full throttle into the newness of their relationshi This is book three in the Brides of Seattle series.
I would expect her to go full throttle into the newness of their relationship. However, Abrianna is wise in that she shares her fears and seeks out counsel. Priam continues to be a most dastardly villain. It would appear that this is the last book in the series. I will miss the aunts and Abrianna. The characters are very real and fun with all their quirks. In her case, that may well be true. I really enjoyed this book and this series.
Thank you to Bethany House for providing me with a free copy of this e-book for the purpose of this review. In Love Everlasting the story furthers Abrianna's relationship with her father and weaves into the story line Priam Welby the horrible man that was involved in the human trafficking business in the last novel.
He is still actively pursuing Abrianna and finds himself having the upper hand over her as two people she dearly loves are accused of crimes they did not commit. He once again begins to court her or better described as successfully blackmailing her into marriage. I don't want to spoil how the book ends so that is all of the story line information I will tell you about. As I am a fan of Tracie Peterson's, I liked the book; however I felt that she gave the fearless, self confident Abrianna a bit of a personality changed.
She seemed overly nervous and fretful which was not evident in the first book. I will be waiting for the next book in the series to see which character will take the lead but this book did tie up some of the questions you had from the previous story. This book was given to me by Netgalley in EBook format for my honest opinion. The publisher is Baker Publishing Group. You can read all of my reviews on my blog, Blessings N Bloggings Minimal Love Everlasting finally brings us to the climatic yet romantic story of Abrianna and her life-long friend Wade who Abrianna is shocked to learn she loves more dearly than just a friend.

Emotional upheaval is predominate as Abrianna comes to terms with being a bride herself. As Tracie Peterson is so apt at doing, the reader is taken along with Abrianna and the other characters on this emotional rollercoaster.
I have to say that I was hooked from the 1st page of the 1st book in the series. I recommend starting with Steadfast Heart , continue with Refining Fire and end with Love Everlasting which will leave you with a big sigh and thoughts of the characters, stories and inspiration that will stay with you long after the last page is read. Oct 26, Just Commonly rated it it was amazing. Abrianna Cunningham is my favorite character out of Tracie Peterson's Brides of Seattle series, and I'm so thrilled I'm finally able to read more about her.
Just a bit of rehash, both in Book 1, Steadfast Love and Book 2, Refiner's Fire, Abrianna plays a pretty dominate supporting role, and she completely shines! Both books were a great entertaining read, and it had cause some withdrawal from me waiting for Book 3, Love Everlasting to be released. Boy, am I glad.
I sincerely enjoyed th Will she? I sincerely enjoyed this series, and especially Love Everlasting and I wonder if there'll be another book in the series. I can read on and on. How about one on Flora? She's also grown on me through the story. Since I mentioned Flora, I also want to give props to Ms. Peterson for building a story of such compelling supporting characters, from Lenore and Kolbien to the Aunts of Madison School to Jay Cunningham and Ms.
Snyder, all just adds to the great development of the plot and each of these characters as a whole. Last, I want to add that I love this cover. It is so Abrianna - great auburn red hair, a little mischief on her face, slight confusion and love in her eyes and the overall sense of innocence. May 23, Mary rated it really liked it Shelves: My aunt Miriam says that we are given to fits of temper and exploits too numerous to list. She said it is as if God made our hair red as a warning to others that mischief was afoot. In this third and final book from the Brides of Seattle series, Abrianna once again is up to her usual adventures and mishaps. The year is and the reader is reunited with the ladies of the Seattle Bridal School and their charges. She dearly loves Wade and has for a very long time.
He has been her best friend since they were youngsters. As with all things Abrianna does, life is never simple. As the city recovers from the terrible fire, Abrianna and Wade must overcome a variety of obstacles that are put in their path along the way to a blissful happily ever after.
The villain, Priam Welby, returns again and finally shows his true colors, adding spice to the story. An adventurous, historic read sprinkled with faith and humor! The above thoughts and opinions are wholly my own. Oct 27, Veronica rated it liked it Shelves: I liked this story, but not as much as the first two. You definitely have to read the first two books to understand this one, as Abrianna's story starts in book one. This book didn't really have two love stories like the first two and I missed the varied story lines.
The back cover copy is very misleading and not what the book's about. Abrianna and Wade have confessed their feelings for each other, but Abrianna's struggling with feelings of insecurity about being a wife and mother. Welby also th I liked this story, but not as much as the first two. Welby also threatens her loved ones if she doesn't marry him and she has to try to figure out how to save her family.
She has a hard time depending on God and realizes that some things she just can't control, which I think is a hard lesson for a lot of us. I really liked Abrianna and Wade and was rooting for them; Welby was just a horrible man and I was wondering how Abrianna was going to get away from him. There was one odd comment by one of her aunts that she's praying for the soul of a deceased loved one, which it didn't seem like they would have believed. There's some cute romantic moments. My attention did wander a bit from this story; it didn't keep my interest as well as the first two.
There are also some amusing moments. I would recommend this book if you've read the first two and like historical fiction. I received this book free from Bethany House Publishers in exchange for an honest review. Oct 27, Abigail rated it really liked it. Prior to reading this book, I had read the second book in the series, but not the first I still have yet to read the first. However, I ended up liking Abrianna in the third book, as it focused more directly on her and her thought process and actions. I thought this point was very realistic and relatable to many young women even today.
The ways in which she handled it and worked through it, and the way it eventually ended, was realistic, relatable, and offers hope and comfort for women who hold the same hesitancies. It is a good, clean read with many good points and encouragements. I received a free copy of this book from the publisher for this review.

Will her ,act now think later, personality get her into more trouble than she can get out of? Wade Ackerman knows he is the one for Abrianna. He loves her independent ways and seems to be a balance for her. When circumstances comes and he finds himself unable to help her, will he be able to trust the decisions she is making.
What is she trying to do anyway? I love the writing style of Tracie Peterson, the comedy, yet difficult circumstances will keep you reading. Her characters are well developed and have personalities all their own. I also love the way Wad finds to silence Abrianna. I was given a copy of this novel from net galley for my honest opinion.
Mar 07, Cathryn rated it really liked it Shelves: Maybe it is the happy ending, but I always find the last book in a Tracie Peterson series is my favorite. Throughout the series I have grown fond of our heroine, Abrianna, and her exciting adventures. Love Everlasting lets us see Abrianna in an adventure that may just cost her life and she deserves the casting role of heroine. All along in the series, we have known that Wade has started to think of Abrianna as more than a friend and we finally get to see how Abrianna returns those same feelings.
