Walk up a long staircase.
Host is very nice and helpful people, breakfast is great , could made fire egg by myself, full of fruits and food you like. Wonderful hosts and location in a small town-fantastic breakfast!!!!! Large bedroom and very large bathroom. This property is not for you if you have difficulties using steps. There are quite a few to climb on your way to your room.
The proprietor was absolutely fabulous. Very nice house and hosts. The bed was big, but not very comfortable. Our room faced the main square of Agerola San Lazzaro and there was basically a party every night, so not so quiet. Plus all the buses that run from 6 am. Though the buses are right in front, the journey is long to Amalfi 1h and there aren't connections to everywhere eg. The place has a great feel and the owners are lovely and can advise you on anything you'd like to see or do in the region.
The room and bathroom were very big and comfortable and clean: The breakfast was great too: The Agerola San Lazzaro is quite the party place in the evening and you do have the bus stop just at the doorstep. Very charming, confortable, clean. Paulo and his wife were great, gentile and helpfull. Very clean and comfortable, great location close to resturaunts bar shops. Great location, bus stops right across.
Not applicable the place was amazing! Everything was just amazing!!! We really loved this place, very clean, very comfy, you can find everything you need, very good breakfast! The location is superb, just 40 min drive to Positano. The hosts are the most kind people we have ever met! We really suggest to stay here if you want to visit Amalfi and Positano. And near Beata Solitudo there is a Pizzeria Trattoria which serves the most tastiest food for an amazing affordable, i can say cheap price.
Originally we booked this place for two nights, but since we really liked the location and everything we extended our stay, and the hosts were really helpful and easily provided us with a new room. Really loved this place, and hopefully will definitely come back!
A long drive from the coast. Google at the time of booking suggested it's only 6kms, in reality it is 25kms on a madly winding road. Lovely hotel, great value for money. In the centre of Agerola.

Such a lovely place! Reminded me of beauty and the beast movie , location so peaceful and pretty. Away from the craziness of the amalfi scene , very authentic. The host was so relaxed and welcoming. Really liked being able to make our own breakfast and the local produce to make it with. My boyfriend and I both agreed it was our favourite location, as it was so unexpected. The coffee was amazing too! The place is located 40 minutes away from Amalfi on top of a hill.
Clean environment and friendly staff. On site car park is a plus considering how much pricey parking is along Amalfi coast. In the village there are restaurants and supermarkets if you want to escape the busy Amalfi. The hotel and staff made us feel like we were home. We really enjoyed our stay and we hope we can come back and stay here again soon. I want to thank the staff again because they welcomed us like we were their relatives. They treated us so well and we are thankful for that. I wanna thank Paolo specially too.
Basically, everything was amazing. There is nothing we did not like. Nothing to do with the hotel but I would suggest for those who may get motion sickness, the bus ride is a bit tough. The road is quite windy, steep and pretty challenging for the bus to get up and down. But again, we expected this as the location of the hotel is exactly as shown on bookings.

Agerola is nice area and if you come you will like to We stayed here for a few nights in a two person tent. We managed to get a pitch that was up at the top of the site which had a great view and was quite secluded.
The owners of he camp site were extremely friendly This place was magical! Getting there was a bit harrowing, but with GPS, it wasn't too bad. The gentleman who greeted us was incredibly polite and the hostess we dealt with before booking and arriving was incredibly forthcoming with information. The room was beautiful with Best place to stay at the amalfi coast, San Lazzaro is up mts over amalfi, its a cozy nice little town, but has everything, best food, best local shops, and strategic place to start the walks or sightseeing and at night quit and fresh A chill, friendly and beautiful spot -- a wonderful respite from the mass tourism of Sorrento.
