It is about a shark who claims everything is scared of him and he is awesome. The first couple of pages are very funny in the illustrations, which I will talk about later in this review. The shark says he isn't scared of anything, everything is scared of him, but the crab finds out that there is one little tiny insect that frightens the shark beyond belief: Just the thought of a huge scary shark being afraid of a little spider is comedic in itself, and with the silly dialogue that happens between the characters, the humor in this book kept me laughing from beginning to end.
The simple, childish illustrations in this book are really cute and fun. They add to the overall feeling of humor throughout this book.
As a human reading this book, it is funny to see what the sharks description of a scary movie is: This page made me laugh so hard and by the second page, I knew that I was gonna like this book. The dialogue that happens between the shark and the creatures that afraid of him happen in little chat bubbles, which I thought was very cool because. Also, the way that the author utilized different styles and colors of text to portray a specific feeling within the reader. For example, the little crabs commentary is in small letters, while the big shark's is in black, bold text.
The Singing Shark is a 4-pane comic featuring an illustrated shark singing the phrases “I'm a shark! Suck my diiiiick!” The comic inspired an exploitable series. The meme is actually a comic, about a great white shark, who pops out of the water with his mouth wide open to sing, "I'm a shark! I'm a shark! Suck my dick!.

I had to read it aloud to him to Ben, the 26 year old, I mean because I knew he'd really enjoy it. Great comedic timing which of course means great read aloud. Simple illustration with grea I think Bob Shea is officially our go to author when we need to buy a present. Simple illustration with great design sensibility. After the event, we decided to borrow more of his books from our local library. This is a funny story about a shark who's not afraid of anything, except perhaps for a creepy spider.
The illustrations are expressive and humorous. And the narrative helps children understand that even the biggest and baddest among us have our own fears. We really enjoyed reading this story together. As the book goes on, a little crab comes into the story and starts to ask the shark what he is afraid of. This is a story that's a great read from start to finish. Her hair is half-down, half-up, with a section tied in a bun — a style which, along with her penchant for Adidas clothing, has become something of a trademark. Her phone rung off the hook as excited label managers, booking agents and prospective management companies realised she was unsigned. In person, Shark is warm and unguarded, and evidently reeling from the circumstances she finds herself in.
The way the shark keeps asking if there's a spider involved cracked me up! It isn't a great book, by any means, but it really was pretty funny, and had a good message about how everyone is afraid of something. It may seem silly to other people, but that doesn't make the fear less genuine. Nov 15, Lynn Davidson rated it it was amazing Shelves: This is a story that's a great read from start to finish. Shark is proud to be a shark.

Shark took up guitar as a teenager after her brother started playing. When Adore blew up, it seemed as though Shark had emerged out of nowhere. Actually, Shark had spent most of her 20s toiling with her music. She started out in an all-girl punk band, which she cringes when she talks about.
