We are all over-comers if we are children of God. Women tend to let the submissive part of themselves give way to fear a lot of the times. We are set apart, we are chosen to get on the front lines and fight for our families just as our husbands are. Holly Wagner gives us inspiration, encouragement and a lot of scripture to back this up. We have to take her words and apply them to our lives. She has herself become a survivor when she was delivered and healed of cancer.

Each day our world changes and because of this future generations can and will suffer for the evil one that abounds at every turn.

Whenever I read Christian Living books, there's always a sense of the author being a little self-righteous. Perhaps that's just some pessimism coming from me, but I don't know. It bothers me a little. The other thing that I didn't like was the format. Did there have to be half-inch gaps between each sentence? And what's with the repetition of points? I just think Wagner could have used other tactics to drive the information home.

When I heard God whisper to me to trust Him with my healing of depression, and that it was time to come off the anti-depressants I had been on for 3 years, I read this book. The title caught my eye. I knew that I had a battle ahead of me physically, spiritually and mentally in overcoming depression.

I was not disappointed by this book.

Holly Wagner wrote this book as she battled with breast cancer. I learned so much about what it means to be a warrior from this book, from a female perspective. Th When I heard God whisper to me to trust Him with my healing of depression, and that it was time to come off the anti-depressants I had been on for 3 years, I read this book. The wisdom in this book prepared and helped me in my battle with depression and helped me slay the dragon for good.

I usually had to add many of my own Bible verses or stories to go along with her points, and just use her stories to enhance the lessons. It is probably better as a solo read instead of using it to teach a class. May 31, Julie Simons rated it it was amazing. This is a book for any woman facing a life challenge no matter how major of minor. A great book to keep handy for a reminder of your strength and purpose.
