These three books, written years before the current incarnation of Serena Wilcox, are so much fun and light-hearted; the later books are totally different and more faith based, if i recall, which really turned me off of those books.

If I had read the latests stories first, I would have never given these stories a try and that would have been sad. The characters in these stories are well written and the plots are e I'm sure glad I read this set first before the finding out about the later series.

The characters in these stories are well written and the plots are enjoyable reads. I don't want to hurt the author's feelings I am sure she is a lovely person who views these characters as friends and family , but a review is a review, and this book is very, very bad. All the characters are perfect and utterly without depth, complexity or reality.

There are plot holes too large to be called holes. The writing is tolerable enough, so it works as a good example for people who are learning how not to write. And that, unfortunately I don't want to hurt the author's feelings I am sure she is a lovely person who views these characters as friends and family , but a review is a review, and this book is very, very bad.
