The host Marie was lovely and spoke excellent English. Parking was on a narrow street. Very friendly and helpful host, lovely characterful house. Lovely house and friendly, helpful owner. Large bedroom and comfy bed. Short walk to city centre sights and restaurants. Bathroom very tight, had to pay cash at check out. Very warm reception of host. Building is old but a great antidote for the formula driven approach of modern hotels.

There are no credit card facilities to pay so you need to pay cash. Bed really comfy and breakfast delicious the hosts were wonderful. Was extremely disappointed we had asked for reserved parking as we did not want to leave our car in a side road. When we arrived the owner said her friend had the reserved place and we would have to park in a nearby road. The only reason we chose this property was because of the secure parking we would not have chosen it if we had know we had to park in side road.

Host was very friendly and gave us good information on restaurants and how to get into town.

Very friendly lady running the place, chic decor, good shower, accommodated early lovely breakfast on a Sunday in front of open fire, family room is actually 2 adjoining rooms which was ideal for us. Curtains could be a little thicker as the street light still shone into the room. The owner was very friendly and made an effort to ensure we had all we needed.

We even had a slice of tarte tatin at breakfast! The bed and shower were both very good. Grotty area, 20 minutes from town. Slightly run down and seedy building. Hotel in town centre which was much more grand was cheaper. Sorry but I do not recommend this place. The owner was very helpful. Very beautiful house in a beautiful town.
