It felt super rushed and way too many music references of horrible music in my opinion- of course this is just my opinion. I just couldn't connect with Lucy, you couldn't really tell what she was about and meeting a guy twice and in love that way didn't make a lot of sense to me.
Antonio might be good looking and damaged but also no connection. Jan 23, Elle Markov rated it liked it. Jan 08, Tammy rated it it was amazing.
When she has to plan a wedding for the billionaire Toni Romero, his grandson Antonio is not happy. He gives Lucy one week to cancel the outrageous wedding. But sparks fly, chemistry is off the charts but when Toni winds up in the hospital. Lucy is heartbroken she is giving up, turning over the business to Maxine her assistant because her heart is not in it anymore. Will things change for the better or will Lucy swear off men for ever? Oct 22, Cynthia rated it it was amazing. Beautiful This was a funny how these two met. Shelley inherited her aunts wacky wedding business. And one of the couples she has is the senior Romero and his nurse.
But his grandson Antonio wants to stop it. But he gets a bit of a shock when he meets Shelley. They have found out that they like each other. I am sorry to say that I didn't like this book. Why were they calling this many by his entire the name so much in this book. This was not sexy or fun or even romantic.
The entire "relationship" between Lucy and Antonio felt forced. May 14, Latricia rated it really liked it. Overall I liked the story but even for a romance the story moved too quickly and too perfectly at times. The breakup was too staged and the reunion happened way too easily with the briefest of explanations. I will read the next book in the series because I think the author will work out these issues.
Apr 25, Joelle rated it liked it. Jun 17, A. Jenkins rated it liked it. Cute This was your typical Harlequin romance novel. I wish this book had more dialogue writing. Instead of the repetitive description writing. The pace of the story was so typical because as your reading it you knew what was going to happen next. But the story was cute and who doesn't love a happy ending! Nov 15, linette supuko rated it did not like it. Below average The idea behind it was ok. No grammar or spelling errors.
But too spread out. Need more sustenance in the characters. Story line needs work. Too much fluff and over explaining. Feb 16, Joan Neal rated it it was ok. I only made it half way through. I found this story very juvenile. I didn't like the characters. I hated the ridiculousness of the ideas of the wedding of the grandfather.
I just couldn't find anyone I liked to propel me through this story. Oct 10, bookslovereaders Steph rated it liked it.
Romance at his finest Short fun quick read to give you a smile. I do like reading a romance book. Sep 29, Mary Stockwell rated it really liked it. Good short read I enjoyed reading this book very much. It is just the right length for a quick romance. It's kind of a modern Cinderella story. Jan 10, Robin Dix rated it really liked it. Cute and flirty with just the right amount of sex appeal. Mar 19, MaryD rated it did not like it Shelves: This just didn't do anything for me. I just didn't care about any of the characters at all.
Aug 26, Blzd rated it it was amazing. A short and quick romance between 2 people who have been hurt before , with the added bonus of a yr old grandpa who recently suffered a stroke but wanted to be shot through a human slingshot for his wedding. Now the latter was just reaching too far in my opinion.
I kind of got bored in some parts where there was too much naration and description in between conversations. The development of the characters' relationship was too fast for me.
Maybe because the book was too short, so some impt eve A short and quick romance between 2 people who have been hurt before , with the added bonus of a yr old grandpa who recently suffered a stroke but wanted to be shot through a human slingshot for his wedding. Maybe because the book was too short, so some impt events were just simply explained. A little editing was needed. And i cannot understand why Antonio did not fret and contact Lucy for a long time when she supposedly dumped him via email, if he indeed loved her.
But what i did love about the story though was Antonio's sweet proposal. It was sweet that Maxine helped him too. It was cute that Lucy was planning her own wedding after all. Overall, it was a sweet HEA story for all of us romantics May 28, Tonileg rated it it was ok Shelves: Contemporary romance with a broken hearted woman who is taking over her aunt's Wedding planning business and must suddenly deal with some rich demanding people and their weddings, including those people's even more demanding family.
But everything is new so she takes some time getting to know the weddings that she is planning including the elderly Mr Antonio Romero's third or was it fourth? Usual fluff romance easy reading, but don't expect anything surprising or orginal, but a fun ride all the same. Sep 06, Lapada rated it it was ok. This had the makings of a good story and I read it to the end, both of which are worthy of two stars. Unfortunately this book could really have used a good editor. It reads like a first draft with frequent errors, repeated sentence structure fails and one instance where the lead character's name changes!
The mistakes are constantly pulling you out of the story which does not stand up to the assault, unfortunately. The characters are two-dimensional, predictable and there are no surprises in the This had the makings of a good story and I read it to the end, both of which are worthy of two stars.
There was a lot of promise in this story but it's definitely not one for sophisticated readers, there's too many flaws to count. Mar 31, Nicole rated it it was ok. This book was way too perfect to be realistic, there were no problems during the realtionship, and this was an instantaneous love with pretty much inexistent build-up for this kind for this kind of connection. The only bit of drama that happened felt forced and not convinving at all. Regarding the characters, I couldn't empathize with any of them moreover, the secondary characters shined even more than the main ones, especially Maxine, without her sassy personality I don't think I would have been This book was way too perfect to be realistic, there were no problems during the realtionship, and this was an instantaneous love with pretty much inexistent build-up for this kind for this kind of connection.

Ending was as predictable. May 23, Deb Diem rated it liked it. Ms Richards has delivered lovable characters in this awesome story that will keep you speeding through the book.
Lucy and Antonio's tale is loaded with drama, humor and spice. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
