This story line has been done before but I think I still would have liked it,,,,,,,,,,,, if the author tried a little hard to make the story better. If I had to guess then this was probly the first book she has ever written and didn't put alot of effort in. The editing was even worse.
There was letters missing and misspelled words. Comas were always in the wrong place or not in the correct place.
Quotation marks around the wrong sentences and again missing from the correct sentences. She also had This story line has been done before but I think I still would have liked it,,,,,,,,,,,, if the author tried a little hard to make the story better. She also had a really bad habit of jumping between characters. She would be writing from Kenna's point of view and the next thing you know your reading from Wyatt's point of view but you don't realize it until half way down the page.
The charcters didn't seem real either. They don't talk like normal people talk, almost like non-actors reading from a script. And when the characters are talking they continually repeat the others name which gets super annoying. A big waste of time!!! Jun 26, Mary Brock rated it did not like it. I have never bothered to write a review but the writing is so bad in this book, I felt the need to warn any potential reader. I believe someone else mentioned there appears to be an error in most every sentence, I agree. The writing is so poorly done it completely distracts the reader. I really don't understand how anyone can follow the story line while trying to decipher what the author is trying to say. Just bad, bad writing - it feels really harsh to Can't find the story for all the errors!!!
Just bad, bad writing - it feels really harsh to say that about anyone who takes the time to write but wow I cannot begin to express just how badly this book is written. I forced myself to read five chapters but as I skipped forward, I found the writing just does not get any better. So sad, there might actually be a story amongst the mistakes somewhere!!!!!
Apr 12, Jo-Anne rated it liked it. Kenna has to go back home to her father's ranch in Montana after loosing her job and finding her boyfriend in bed with his wife which she thought was his ex. She was embarrassed to return but also didn't want to face Wyatt who she had crushed on since she was a teenager. Wyatt was her brother's best friend and lives on the ranch next door so she knows they will see a lot of each other. Turns out Wyatt has a thing for Kenna too so it's not all bad for them. I enjoyed this nice quick read and would have really liked it more if the editing had been better - or done at all. Terrible editing I got this book as a free download on Amazon back in August but just read it the other night. I am very glad I didn't pay for this book because it wasn't worth reading it for free. It desperately needs a proofreader and editor.
Nearly every sentence had grammatical errors. The author switched characters mid sentence, switched between past and present tense, and switched between first person and third person mid sentence. I will not read anything else by this author. Okay the obvious this book had some serious editing and grammar mistakes! Now I liked the story it was just predictable and that is where I decided to give it less than 5 stars. I feel like that a lot of people are running out of ideas and re-writing the same story that has been told so many times before.
I could swear not to long ago I read a book about a girl who breaks down and the person who picks her up is her childhood crush that she had runaway from. I like these books I just wish that th Okay the obvious this book had some serious editing and grammar mistakes! I like these books I just wish that the story line was more original. Now the hot tub and the dad and mom kissing thing was cute and funny but, not enough for me to rate this book over two stars.

One minute third, the next first! OMG I couldn't keep up. The characters were lackluster, the story a predictable, sappy hot mess. The idea of the story, great. I see that this is book 1, heaven help us that Ms. Beck fired her editor before book 2! On my Cowboy Scale of Hotness Jun 23, Donna Porter rated it really liked it.
This book contains explicit sexual scenes, so it may not be for everyone. This was a good short story. Kenna Jamison returns to Butte, Montana after her fiance went back to his wife and fired her. Her dad and brother, Carson, welcome her home. She had always had a crush on Wyatt Walker growing up and he starts to realize they always fight because they are attracted to each other.
You will really enjoy their story. Jan 21, Loreta rated it did not like it. In all fairness I rated this book without completely reading it. I had to abandon it because of the spelling, punctuation and grammer. I found myself struggling because I had to go back a couple times, on too many sentences, trying to put in the proper punctuation and spelling their, there etc. When the writer does an update correction I would like to try again. I have downloaded another book by this author and am hoping it will be okay. Jul 31, Tammi rated it it was ok. The grammatical and spelling errors in this book were horrendous and overrode what could have been a nice story.
The author jumped from first person to third person and within tenses in a single sentence. Spell check or a single proofread by someone halfway familiar with the English language would have gone a long way in improving this book. Jun 25, My Dichotomy Life rated it it was ok Shelves: This is a sweet uncomplicated love story, unfortunately ruined by the lack of editing. So many speech marks missing that the continuity was stilted and completely the wrong words in places. On the positive side it contains one of the most romantic and unique proposals of marriage I've ever read: I couldn't do it.
I wanted to finish it, but there were just too many grammatical and punctuation errors. And I have a pet peeve. It got to the point where I was anticipating errors that weren't even there, that's when I knew I had to stop. Apr 10, Jaime rated it it was ok. Overall; I was disappointed. Please over look the spelling and grammar errors in this book and read it for the story. Mar 28, Stephanie rated it it was ok. I really enjoyed the story line. I would have love the book had it not been for the grammar and spelling issues through out the whole book. I really want to finish this series but I'm a little unsure after having the problems with this book.
