They do not have the sport-specific training experience that is pertinent to coaching female athletes. I will refer parents of all of my players in the future to Mr. This book is for them. The title says it all, they are NOT boys. The men I know have no idea their daughters are 8 times more at risk for an ACL injury than their sons, yet many of them are coaching soccer, basketball, lacrosse or field hockey.

As females continue to be injured at an alarming rate, knowledge like what this book offers has been long overdue in the public sphere.
