Delusions (Affinity Book 2)

Book Giveaway For Delusions (The Affinity, #2)

As for Adam and Ethan, I thought it was cool how tight knit the four of them are. Since I read the first book, I already loved Sara and Lucas. There weren't any characters I wasn't interested in knowing more about--they were fleshed out and seemed like real people, not just characters. There was a message behind the story that resonated with me--life is too short to hold onto anger and grudges.

Live life in the now, let go of regrets, and move on. Logan had learned this and wanted to help Lisa learn to let go, but throughout the book she insisted on holding a grudge against him and her father. She lied and kept secrets from Logan instead of talking to him about what was bothering her, leaving him completely confused with her hot and cold behavior. I was so frustrated with her! I just wanted to tell her to allow herself to get over the past and move on, but I know from experience it isn't that easy, which made the story even more realistic.

I loved this book!

There was a little of everything--the funny, the sad, the romantic I highly recommend this book, and if you haven't read the first one yet, you definitely have to read it as well. Jonel Boyko on Jan. Wow, I have tears in my eyes and am giggling like a school girl who just spoke to her first crush all at the same time.

Delusion ONE of six

This novel was great. It was about real people, with real lives, dealing with real issues, and then some. Every major character in this novel has a back-story. You know who they are and why they are that way. You also learn a great deal more about some of the characters from the original story as well.

Delusions (Book Two In The Affinity Series)

The characters also display emotions appropriate to their circumstances. The characters in this novel are also quite likeable. They all have their quirks but you never want to throw a pillow at any of them to shut them up. It is the realism in her writing that draws you so far into the work. She describes things as they are in the real world. There are no illusions or metaphors. Her pages are not full of symbolism. It is completely real, and yet you can still picture it as if you were there.

Aliaa El-Nashar on Sep. I'd really liked the story, and once I heard there was a book two for Logan, I rushed up to the author wondering about it. Christina was nice enough to send me a copy of the book as it was just my luck she'd been giving away 5 free copies of the book! Within the next few hours of receiving it, I'd had the book read.

No seriously, even ask her, she was surprised too.

Now, since that day I've reread the book a second time just for good measure. That and I really liked the character of Logan, much more than that of Lucas, not sure why. That and, did you guys see this amazing cover?

I honestly fell in love with it, just as much as I'd done with book one! Now onto the review! Logan didn't have a clue how that happened and was very upset.
