Eve Milliken stepped up to slot the ball away and give Park a four goal advantage. Hannah Mitchell and Evie MacLennan would both claim their second goals of the match to leave the half time score to Park. The second half continued in the same fashion with Park Girls well on top. It was Dingwall though who would claim the first goal of the half via a thunderous free kick that found the bottom corner of the goal.

Park responded strongly and 4 goals from Evie MacLennan giving her a double hat trick and 2 from Jessica Thom put Park up. Another great performance from the girls. Can they make it 20 games unbeaten next week against Kiltearn? Kiltearn took an early lead when they were awarded a contentious penalty. The first effort was well saved by Michael Bennion with the rebound coming off the post. This resulted in a scramble with Kiltearn turning the ball in to take an early lead. Park faught back well and scored a deserved equaliser through Josh Lohse and the teams went in at the break all square at 1 goal apiece.

In the second half Park raced out of the traps and scored two quick goals both through Jack Mitchell to take a lead. Kiltearn settled into the game and cane back fighting. They pulled a good goal back from a corner and then a great strike levelled the scores. In the last minute Kiltearn had an opportunity to win the game as their striker ran through on goal.

An unfortunate slip at the vital moment saw the ball trickle wide and the game finish in a deserved draw. Park started brightly and were in control of the game, taking a well deserved lead through Harry Fraser. Park Girls continued their amazing unbeaten run with a hard fought victory against Knockbreck in Tain. The first half saw Park dominate but were thwarted by a series of great saves by the Knockbreck goalkeeper. Park finally took the lead when Evie Maclennan cut in from the left and fired a great shot into the corner of the net.

This was all that separated the teams in the first half as Park took the narrowest of leads into the break. In the second half Park again dominated and Hannah Mitchell doubled the lead with a good strike. Kady Morrison then reacted well to fire a loose ball into the net to give Park a more comfortable lead.

Knockbreck then came into the game more and threatened with a number of attacks. They score a well deserved goal when a looping shot lobbed Lilly Mackenzie to reduce the deficit to two goals. A very challenging game, well done to both teams. Park took on Knockbreck in a rematch of a game earlier in the season that finished Again it proved to be a very even affair with both sides having periods of dominance. In the first half Park opened the scoring when a Jamie Macleod cross was met superbly on the volley by Harry Fraser.

Knockbreck bounced back well and levelled the scores soon after. Knockbreck then took control and should have taken the lead when a shot from 2 yards out rattled the underside of the bar. The teams went into the break though with the scores level at 1 goal a piece. Park then took control and a loose pass from the Knockbreck defence was closed down superbly by Kenyon Chivero. His tenacity paid off as he was able to pounce on the lose ball to make it Park continued to press and took the lead when George Forth drove forward and shot from outside the box, finding the bottom corner to put Park ahead.

This lead only lasted a minute as Knockbreck broke well and a good lob sailed over the Park goalkeeper and into the net to even the scores. Harry was quick to react and after a scramble was able to turn the ball into the net to give Park a narrow win. Park Girls continue to astound everyone with their performances, this time defeating another academy side by a huge margin. The game started quite even with the height and speed advantage of the academy side evident. Park did not let this advantage make a difference as their organisation and determination more than cancelling it out.

Park took control and took a two goal lead through Evie Maclennan. Tain Academy threatened and a one on one was superbly saved by Lilly Mackenzie as she threw herself down to smother the ball at the feet of the attacker. Tain Academy later were able to penetrate the Park defence and scored a great goal to reduce the deficit. After that goal Tain found it near impossible to find a way through a very well organised Park defence. Park took control of the game and dominated.

Four more goals from Evie Maclennan and a good finish from Jessica Thom left the half time score to Park. The second half continued in the same way and Park dominated from the start. Evie Maclennan scored another three goals to take her total to a triple hat-trick of 9 goals!

Jessica Thom would add three more goals to take her total to 4 goals and Hannah Mitchell would also score to leave the full time score to Park! The next challenge will come from an Inverness select team taking their players from numerous different schools in a special challenge game! Josh MacDonald have Park an early lead with a good finish which was cancelled out with a great break by South Lodge.

The match was very even until substitutes Jamie Macleod and Josh Lohse both scored to give Park a half time lead. In the second half both teams had periods of dominance and South Lodge scored to reduce the deficit to 1 goal. Jamie Macleod added his second to restore the two goal cushion but this was then reduced again after South Lodge pounced on a rebound to score. The match continued to bounce back and forth and Jamie Macleod sealed his hat-trick only for South Lodge to again score with a good counter attack. As the game drew to a close Harry Fraser was fouled in the box and a penalty was awarded to Park.

Leon Calder stepped up to fire the ball into the bottom right corner to score his first goal for Park. South Lodge continued to demonstrate great resilience and scored again with minutes to go to set up a nervous ending to the match. Park welcomed Millbank from Nairn through to Invergordon for a Saturday match. Millbank are the current Moray Champions and faced an undefeated Park side. The match was played in strong winds and Park had to play against the wind in the first half. Evie would add a fourth along with a fine finish from Hannah Mitchell to give Park a commanding half time lead. In the second half Park continued to dominate and Hannah Mitchell would pounce to grab her second of the day.

In a rare Millbank attack Lilly Mackenzie was quick off her line to save a one on one and preserve her clean sheet. In the closing stages a good ball into the box was turned in by Jessica Thom to leave the final score in Parks favour. Next Thursday in what will be a very difficult match. The match started with Craighill on top and they raced into a 2 goal lead within 10 minutes. As the game settled down Park came into it more and there were chances at both ends.

Good play by Jamie Macleod down the left hand side enabled him to get a long range shot away which hit the post and rebounded off the keeper to reduce the deficit. The first half ended on quite an even affair but Craighill took the narrow lead into the break. The second half saw Park start brightly and apply lots of pressure. This paid off whena good ball into the box by Jamie Macleod eluded the Craighill defence and Harry Fraser was able to pounce with a fine diving header.

Craighill found a way back into the game and were able to turn the tide of the Park attacks. As Craighill took control they were able to grab a goal to put them up. Park pushed forward for an equaliser towards the end of the game and were hit on the break twice as Craighill raced forwarded and grabbed two late goals. A great game that was much closer than the scoreline suggests and credit to both teams for battling performances.

Park Girls took on Invergordon Academy 1st and 2nd Year Girls in a special challenge match and came out deserved winners after a battling and determined performance. Park started the match strong and raced into a four goal lead with all goals coming from Evie Maclennan. In the second half Invergordon Academy came out strong and Park had to defend resolutely to maintain their lead.

Towards the end of the half Invergordon Academy were able to only break down the Park defence twice while good chances were created and passed up by Park at the opposite end. Park were able to deservedly hold out to claim victory against a team who were not only much bigger but were 3 and even 4 years older than them.

Park finished in a very respectable 2nd place at the second Mid-Ross Football Tournament, narrowly missing out on top place. Park opened their campaign with a comfortable victory against Obsdale A. Park continued their good form seeing off a spirited Ardross by 5 goals to nil. This was a very even match which saw Milton take the lead onlyfor Jamie Macleod to equalise. As the game appeared to be heading for a draw Milton snatched a late winner to take the game Park showed resilience in their next match to bounce back with a victory over 3rd place finishers Kiltearn.

In the first half chances were few and far between and Knockbreck took the lead from a well worked counter attack. Substitute Jack Mitchell levelled the scoring soon after coming on and the first half ended In the second half the match opened up and Knockbreck again took the lead. Finley Cassie pounced to level the scoring 5 minutes later. Knockbreck then took control of the game scoring three goals in quick succession to given them a 3 goal cushions.

Park showed a great battling attitude and Jack Mitchell scored his second to reduce the deficit. Park continued to pile on the pressure and this paid off when Finley Cassie grabbed his second of the day followed up by Jack Mitchell completing his hat trick to level the scores.

The match was the proverbial game of two halves as the first half was a very even affair with few chances created by either team. Right at the death a powerful strike from Evie Maclennan deflected off Martina Chisholm into the back of the net to leave the final score in Parks favour. At half time Park lead through two goals from Hannah Mitchell, a hat trick from Evie Maclennan and another hat trick from Chloe Woods.

In the second half Park continued the way they ended the first and Evie Maclennan added 5 goals to bring her total to 8 for the day. Hannah Mitchell added another 2 goals to her tally. Chloe scored her fourth and two defenders got in on the act as Eve Milliken and Jessica Thom both scored. South Lodge continued to work hard and were able to score three goals in the second half, two of which were penalties. Park took the lead through Kenyon Chivero but were soon pegged back as Kiltearn levelled.

Harry Fraser would round off parks goals while Kiltearn scored a well worked consolation. In the first half Park were well on top and took a lead into the break thanks to four goals from Evie Maclennan. In the second half Park continued the way they finished the first and Hannah Mitchell added a double to take the score to Kiltearn continued to battle well and scored a deserved consolation goal after a number of deflections. In the first half Park applied sustained pressure amd took the lead through a tap in from Michael Benion.

Josh Lohse added two goals in the first half along with two from Jamie MacLeod. George Forth and Harry Fraser both chipped in with a goal each. Michael Benion improvised well to head the ball when on the ground which was diverted in via a sliding South Lodge defender. In the second half Jamie MacLeod added another two goals to bring his total to 4. George Forth and Harry Fraser both grabbed their second of the day.

Kenyon Chivero would then score his first goal for Park along with an unfortunate own goal that left the final score A very good performance from Park. On Wednesday 30th August we will have football trials and training from pm at the school field for all pupils in primaries The school teams will then be playing matches most weeks and training will be held in weeks with no matches. Our arranged matches so far are posted below. This will be updated when other fixtures are arranged. If you are free then come along and support the team! Park Primary took part in the third annual Ross Shire Football Tournament which saw a record 28 teams compete with 30 schools represented.

Park started their campaign in Group A with 4 other teams. In the first match Park recorded a comfortable victory over South Lodge. This was followed up with another victory in their second match, another victory against Obsdale. Park then took on their nearest rivals in the group Ben Wyvis and were again able to emerge victorious with a victory. In the final match of the group stages Park rounded up a very successful start to the competition with another victory, this time a victory against Resolis.

This was the first time that a Park side had come top of their group in the Ross Shire Tournament. In the quarter finals Park faced the runners up of Group B Tarradale. In this match Park created many chances but failed to convert them. Tarradale took the lead with a breakaway goal midway through the match. Park continued to battle and scored a well deserved equaliser to leave the final score This meant that the match would go to a penalty shootout. Park showed great determination to keep battling throughout the match.

This is the furthest that any Park side has ever reached in the Ross Shire Tournament and the team should all be really proud of their achievements. The girls team took part in the inaugural girls football tournament which saw 8 teams compete to be the first name on the shield.

The tournament was divided into 2 groups of 4 teams and each team played everyone in their group twice. Park Girls started their campaign strongly with a victory over South Lodge with goals coming from Poppy Junor x2 and Hannah Mitchell. Park would later defeat South Lodge in their second encounter with a Poppy Hattrick and a goal from Hannah making the difference.

In the second encounter Park would secure a narrow victory with Poppy scoring the goal. Park ended with 4 wins and 2 draws out of their 6 games. More impressively Park did not conceed a goal in all of their games. Park progressed to the semi-finals where they faced Dornoch. The strong Park defence was again on show with Dornoch unable to create any chances of note. This led to the game finishing goalless and the dreaded lottery of penalties. Unfortunately Dornoch would come out on top in the penalty shoot out by 2 goals to 0.

Craighill would progress to emerge victorious in the final against Dornoch with a victory and take home the shield. Park Girls can be very proud of their achievements and luck unfortunately went against them on the day. The sportsmanship and attitude shown by all the girls was excellent. A belated update on the girls game prior to the Easter Holidays. An excellent display from Park Girls saw them emerge victorious in the friendly game against Craighill.

Park started the game well but found it difficult to break down the Craighill defence. After some sustained pressure Park eventually opened the scoring through Hannah Mitchell. Hannah would later add a second goal to her to total followed by a goal from Poppy Junor to give Park a half time lead. Park continued to dominate in the second half and Hannah Mitchell added 4 more goals along with Poppy Junor doubling her total to put Park in a commanding lead. Great sportsmanship and attitude was shown by the girls and we look forward to The Ross Shire tournament on the 10th May.

Park suffered a rare defeat going down to an excellent Craighill team who are by far the strongest side we have faves this year. They will be the team to beat come the Ross Shire tournament in May. Park gave a very disciplined and organised performance in the first half to keep the score at half time. This scoreline was aided in a big way by Park goalkeeper Stephen Ross who was excellent through the the game, pulling off a number of fantastic saves.

His performance drew much praise from the Craighill coach. The second half saw Craighill make the long awaited breakthrough. They soon added another two goals to give them a three goal cushion. Park though showed great resilience and a great breakaway saw Kyle Clark prod the ball past the Craighill goalkeeper to make the score Craighill added another two goals as the match drew to a close. A great battling performance from Park, especially in the first half and this will give us confidence should we meet Craighill in May. In two weeks time Park take on another Tain school, Knockbreck in a friendly match.

Park Primary took part in the Soccer Sevens tournament in Tain, finishing a very respectable 4th. Park also had one of the best defensive records in the competition only conceding 3 goals in the 8 games they played. Park goalkeeper Stephen Ross played a big part in this by pulling off a number of heroic saves which brought great praise from opposition coaches and spectators. These performances earned him the player of the tournament award. Park started the tournament slowly and went down in their opening game against Culbokie. This was followed up by a goalless draw against Dingwall.

Park then suffered only their second defeated of the day narrowly going down to Avoch. A series of fantastic saves on top of a saved penalty by Stephen Ross saw Park share the spoils. The park defence was again strong as another goalless draw followed against Knockbreck. Park then went on a winning run, coming out on top in their remaining three games. First a Graidh Mackenzie goal was enough for Park to claim a victory against Milton. In the penultimate match a fantastic free kick from Lennox Grant gave Park another victory, this time against Kiltearn.

In the final match against Tarradale George Forth pounced after the ball struck the post twice to secure another win. This left Park in 4th position in the table. A huge well done to all the boys who took part, showing great determination as Park kept 6 clean sheets out of 8 games! A final table will be posted once it has been received by the organisers. Park Girls emerged with a narrow victory in a friendly match away to Craighill.

The start of the match was a very even affair with both defences coming out on top. Park started to take control of the game midway through the first half and took the lead through a goal from Poppy Junor. Park doubled their lead when Poppy Junor again struck to give Park a two goal cushion at half time.

In the second half Park again started strong and Poppy completed her hattrick to make the score to Park. Craighill came into the game more and pulled a goal back to reduce the deficit to two goals. Craighill continued to pile on the pressure and were in the ascendency for the last 10 minutes of the match. Another well worked goal from Craighill made the scoreline to Park. As Craighill pushed for an equaliser Park had to defend resolutely with all players showing great determination to help preserve their narrow lead.

Park were able to sustain the late pressure from Craighill to see out the victory. A huge well done to both teams who both gave their all in an entertaining game played in very cold weather! We look forward to Craighill Girls coming to visit Park next year. Park claimed a convincing win in a friendly match away to Knockbreck in very cold conditions! Park started strong but had to persevere to break down the Knockbreck defence. This perseverance paid off as Park took the lead on 10 minutes after a driven shot across the goal from Kyle Clark found the bottom corner of the net.

Further goals in the first half came from Lennox Grant, a double from Graidh Mackenzie and a second from Kyle Clark to give Park a half time lead. Park continued their good form into the second half and Graidh Mackenzie completed his hattrick to make it Knockbreck hit back to reduce the deficit to 5 goals with a well worked goal. The scoring was completed when Graidh Mackenzie added another double followed up by a goal from Kyle Clark which gave him a well deserved hattrick.

Well done to both teams for playing the game in cold conditions. We will welcome Knockbreck through to Invergordon for a return match next year. The team won all 6 games in the league to give them 18 points out of Going into the match a draw would have been enough to clinch the title but the team secured the championship in style.

Park took an early lead through a free kick from Ruben Duncan. This lead was short lived as Newmore hit back to level the scores. This lead was reduced when Newmore scored a well worked goal just before the break to make the half time score to Park. In the second half Park were dominate and a double from Lennox Grant and a goal from Stephen Ross made the scoreline Some neat footwork from Stephen Ross, or a stumble that got lucky, lead to a dangerous cross that was turned into the net by an unfortunate Newmore defender. Fabian Bogun sealed his hattrick to make the full time score Well done to both teams who battled well throughout and well done to all the players who played a part in Park winning the ASG League.

The team will also continue to play friendly games as well as competing in forthcoming tournaments. Indoor football training at Invergordon Leisure Centre will commence in December and will run through the winter months. Dates and times will be sent home in the coming weeks. Park raced into a 2 goal lead through goals from Stephen Ross and Graidh Mackenzie. Milton replied after a good old goal mouth stramash. The second half saw Park create many good chances and Graidh Mackenzie completed his hattrick to give Park a 3 goal cushion.

Milton continued to battle well and again reduced the scoreline to a two goal deficit. Josh Lohse added two goals to earn himself a well deserved hattrick. Well done to both teams in what was a very competitive game. Park now only need to take 1 point in their next game to secure the inaugural Invergordon ASG League title. South Lodge took an early lead in what was a very even first half. Park replied through two goals from Graidh Mackenzie. The first a sublime free kick followed up by a well executed lob. The scoreline remained until half time.

Early in the second half South Lodge leveled the scoring to make it Park then took control of the game with two quick goals in succession from Graidh Mackenzie and Kyle Clark. Michael Bennion then scored two goals in a row, the second a well placed finish from a one on one, to give Park a 4 goal cushion. Well done to South Lodge in what was a really competitive game.

A new Park Girls football team played their first game in a friendly match against South Lodge. The first half was a very even affair with not much between the sides. Park took an early lead through Poppy Junor only for South Lodge to score twice in succession. Park rallied towards the end of the half with further goals again from Hannah Mitchell and Poppy Junor to give Park a narrow lead at the break.

The second half saw Park take control of the game. Six goals in the second half from Poppy Junor took her total in the game to nine goals, a triple hattrick! Hannah Mitchell completed her own hattrick and Jessica Thom added a great strike to give Park an unassailable advantage. South Lodge scored a well worked goal in the closing minutes, beating Lilly Mackenzie for the first time as Park ran out winners.

A great game with great sportsmanship shown from both sides. Park Primary School won the inaugural Mid-Ross Football Tournament, winning every game in the process while not conceding a goal! The tournament consisted of 7 teams playing a round robin. Park started with a strong performance beating Obsdale This was followed up with a convincing win against Coulhill. Further and wins followed against Milton and Ardross respectively.

In the penultimate game Park faced a Kiltearn side who had also won every preceding game, meaning that this game would go a long way in deciding the eventual tournament winner. A close and tense game saw very few chances created by either side. With a couple of minutes to go a dangerous cross from Graidh Mackenzie was turned into the net by an unfortunate Kiltearn defender to give Park a very narrow victory. Overall victory in the tournament was secured with a victory over South Lodge.

In the first half Park created many good chances and took the lead from a cross come shot from Graidh Mackenzie! Josh Lohse scored a hattrick which added to a double scored by George Forth. Jamie Macleod, who was making his debut for Park, also scored a double. Declin Davidson added a goal from the penalty spot and Lennox Grant powered in a late goal. The scoring was completed through a very unfortunate own goal. A great save by Stephen Ross denied them a goal at the end of the first half and they were denied on numerous occasions by Blaine Thomas in the second half.

A special mention must go to Park B Park youth or next generation might be a more apt name! The team was made up of primary 5 and 6 pupils and it was great to see 4 girls involved in this team who took on a very strong Milton side. The team all battled hard throughout the game, never giving up but unfortunately fell to an defeat. Team photos will be posted up for all future games. Unfortunately we were unable to take them today but here are a few actions shots instead! Eight graduating seniors from Floral Park Memorial were highlighted in the U.

Christian Club members held a brief ceremony in remembrance of the tragic events of Sept. Congratulations to seventh-grader Sabrina Nagle for an amazing accomplishment. Floral Park Memorial, in conjunction with The Vietnam War Veterans Association of Nassau County, collected toiletry items for veterans who are homeless or have other needs. Hammad is one of only 13 students from Long Island who is proceeding to this level.

Floral Park Memorial students joined members of the Rotary Club of Floral Park-Bellerose to pack 10, meals for local people in need. Floral Park Memorial inducted 26 students into the Business Honor Society on April 7 during a special breakfast, which was organized to celebrate their achievements. Elaine Phillips on March Under the advisory of teacher Mr. Kurt Brechtlein, the club is committed to volunteerism, fundraising and service to the community and school. And the crowd goes wild! Research indicates that students who participate in extracurricular activities perform better academically. So what better way to get the class of heading in that direction than to expose the students to the abundance of clubs that Floral Park Memorial has to offer? Jacob defeated fellow eighth-grader Jacqueline Kelly with the word "unscrupulous" in the final round.
