Our volunteers are carefully screened and supported. Lydia—a long-time Toronto resident originally from the Philippines—was also a long-standing volunteer at Mustard Seed where she taught other women to share her passion and expertise in beading, Chinese knotting and jewellery making.
When she retired, Lydia also began to volunteer at another ministry, In Good Company, where she lends a helping hand through visiting and friendly interactions. Lydia says that participating in this way has changed her life in a meaningful way.
It has helped me to become more aware of the needs of the community and how I can make a difference, no matter how small. Last fiscal year, In Good Company trained 93 volunteers for the ministry and other agencies.

Soon after, Globecom CEO Teddy K visits the sales office and during a grand speech to all the employees on synergy and other similar corporate business strategies, he is questioned by Dan and shrugs him off. Carter's boss, Mark Steckle, tells Carter to fire Dan.
