It's a visceral reaction, and those are the exact feelings Ellie has for Logan. Their relati OMG - love you so much Logan!! Ellie is funny, adorable and cute. Overall, they were a perfect couple with their fair share of challenges. So many things happening in this book and I enjoyed it because we can see all the characters from the previous books. This series and these royally boys ruined me!!! I adored each one of them and I highly recommend this series. View all 7 comments.
This story really hooked me from the start. I loved the writing as I knew I would , the character development and the dynamics. The story kept me completely captivated from start to finish.
I love stories that have that effect on me and just make me so happy. Ok… so if there is one person I would trust to protect me knowing my life is safe in their hands, it would for sure be Logan; he is strong, smart, thoughtful, and incredibly sexy. With his beautiful Wessco accent, he is sure to melt even the coldest of hearts. Do what I say from this point on, understand? Handcuff me to his side? Not on his watch. She is extremely hard working; not only does she have to wake up at the crack of dawn to prepare the pies for her families business, but she is also studying hard to finish high school at the top of her class.
Her love of music was just the icing on the cake for me. This love story between Logan and Ellie unfolds over a number of years and it was such a privilege to read how their slow burning love and attraction intensified over many years. The intense sexual tension and attraction between the two added to the anticipation for me. I kept asking myself if or when they were finally going to give in to the feelings they had for each other. Will they risk everything to be together? I am a complete sucker for slow burning romances and this one had it in spades. I always love the anticipation and tension it causes.
I love the longing looks, the accidently on purpose secret touches and knowing both Ellie and Logan want each other immensely and the angst of waiting for them to succumb to their feelings was heart racing. It was the perfect mix of emotion, humor, romance and angst for me and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves their slow burning romances that are sure to keep you captivated throughout. Spanning over a few years, we see the progression of a friendship based on respect and understanding between Logan and Ellie, and as the two get older, something more begins to form. Ellie is the perfect woman for him, but will there ever be a perfect time for the two of them to be together? This is the book you turn to when all other books fail to make you smile. I cannot go on enough on how refreshing it was to read this story, how much I loved the characters and the plot. Some things may seem a bit tropey, but it just works.
Bodyguard romances seem to be the new trend in romance and I am totally on board with this. The other side of it for me, is that protector role. Full of humor seriously, I laughed out loud quite a few times reading this , tenderness, and a touch of magic, Royally Endowed is the perfect end of summer book. View all 11 comments. Sep 26, Samantha Young rated it it was amazing. I love this series from Emma Chase and book three, Royally Endowed, is my favourite of the lot.
This trope is one of my favs, but what really sells this story is the hero and heroine and their chemistry. Logan who I imagined with a cultured Scottish accent: And sexy as hell! Ellie was his opposite: My heart broke for her through the book because her loneliness w I love this series from Emma Chase and book three, Royally Endowed, is my favourite of the lot. My heart broke for her through the book because her loneliness was often palpable, and I loved how much that affected Logan and how he strived to make her feel noticed even when he didn't realise that's what he was doing.
She was also very funny and I enjoyed that she had the ability to make the brooding Logan laugh. It was small moments throughout that all together created such wonderful chemistry between them. Despite their immediate connection this is a slowburn romance told over five years and it made their eventual romantic interludes explosively hot. Sep 26, Laura rated it it was amazing Shelves: Now, this is what I'm talking about. Oh my gods , this book was so good and it was definitely right. Slow burns are the best ones. James and Ellie Hammond are my absolute favorite couple.
They were cute and hot and perfect for each other. From the very first time they interacted to the end of the book I could feel the love and connection between them and it was amazing. I liked the dynamics going on here and the growth but that had to be with the fact that we have known the couple individ Now, this is what I'm talking about. I liked the dynamics going on here and the growth but that had to be with the fact that we have known the couple individually for a while so all the situations and responses made sense so none of that was really rushed and it was great to see how a crush developed into something more.
Ellie was such a ray of sunshine, it reminded me a bit of Daisy Calloway in her kind spirited way. So I liked her a lot right off the start and as the book went on I was happy to read the woman she became. As for Logan, man, he was something. I fell so hard for him. He was your stereotypical tall, dark haired and broody hero but he was also more than that -he was cute and loyal and very nice in the good man kind of way.

Overall I loved this book and loved how we could see the big events in book one and two from Ellie and Logan's POV because all that madness added something extra to their relationship but if there was something that bothered me was the ending. I didn't like the whole view to the future and all the babies because while I loved Ellie and Logan, seeing them as parents was way too rushed and more than that, I respect any woman who decides to stay and raise her children but Ellie had big ass dreams which never materialized and it felt as she was, in fact, settled down.
It's not the case but the fact that the book had to clarify that she was okay staying at home with the babies? I wish the book hadn't ended that way and just leave it wide open but I did enjoyed my time with this story and the trilogy as a whole. I have a special corner of Hell in my mind for books that promise me the earth in the beginning and then don't deliver. Royally Endowed earned its VIP place in my personal firepit when it morphed from a promising slow-burn to Have you met me?
Truly, I loved Logan in the beginning - I even texted my best friend with infatuated nonsense - and I thought that Royally Endowed had the potential to make my little heart beat. Alas, that was before both leads started to The story's taking place through more than 5 years, therefore at first? I understood the way the chapters were written. Think short scenes, multiple jumps in time, focus-focus now we're done. I even enjoyed it. I didn't expect that this particular storytelling would go on and on and on during most of the book, and I quickly became very tired of the characters telling me boring things I wanted to see maybe not, actually , thank you very much.
Have I really read the love-story between Miss Pixie Dream Girl who has cute breasts and stuff and her caveman-but-sweet spechul guard? That needs to stop. My binge-read of romance novels is getting out of hands and I'll be heartless before I know it and I'll have no friends, probably Don't say it's too late. Honestly though, I know that many of you think that I'm too hard on romance novels and maybe I am?
But here's how I see things: None, as far as I'm concerned. For more of my reviews, please visit: Logan is a man of honor, and I love that he not only takes care of her physically, but emotionally as well. Throughout it all, she maintains her playfulness and independence. I enjoyed every crackle, sizzle, and pop of their relationship along the way.
My husband was asleep because, you know, normal people are asleep in the middle of the night.
I kept covering my mouth and biting my lip to keep from laughing out loud. Unfortunately, my muffled laughter was shaking the bed so hard that I woke him up anyway. Recommended for fans of: And with good reason Not so much with regards to himself but with who he is protecting We get a lot of page time learning why Logan is the way he is and with Ellie growing up, from the age of 18 to But there were a lot of cute scenes with Logan protecting Ellie and taking care of her.
There's some new developments with Nicolas and Olivia so they and Ellie move back to the palace in Wessco. Unfortunately, things take a more sinister turn and everyone has to be on guard.
Naturally, they do something risky and the cat's out of the bag. Some changes have to be made and Logan just doesn't know if he can hang. Luckily, life shows him he most certainly can especially with Ellie at his side. I loved what Logan was working on and what Ellie brought to it.
I loved getting updates on Henry and Sarah and Nicolas and Olivia, and I even loved how the Queen responded to things. The epilogue was great with letting us know those updates but I'm hoping it wasn't a series wrap up because, come on We definitely need his book! This has got to be Ellie and Logan! I was absolutely convinced I would love Ellie and Logan and of course, I was right: D I think Emma really found herself at her best with this series, and constantly delivering better stories and characters. From serious, to funny, to dark and secrets, she manages to cover a lot of elements with her stories, making them unique and so well written. Let me tell you something about the plot, which is very simple to discuss about.
Our heroine is Ellie, Olivia's baby sister and Nicholas sister in law. I loved Ellie from book 1 because she was so sweet and had that fragility I always craved at a young girl. She was funny and always a ray of sunshine. I was hoping Emma will write her story one day and voila, there it is: She was been in love with Logan like forever, but he was forbidden, being her bodyguard and serving the Royal Crown.
Besides that, her age was a problem as well, because she was waaaay younger for him to start something. That didn't stop Logan from noticing her, from being close to Ellie every chance he got and in secret, he also crushed hard on her. Because of his duty and effort to get in this point of his life, Logan didn't express his feeling to Ellie, being afraid of losing his job and everything he fought for. You see, Logan is not Nicholas or Henry.. He was raised in a disorganized family and struggled to get out of there and make a living by himself. He was not ready to give that up..
Only that plans chance and Logan will have some important decisions to make: I loved "Royally Endowed" because it was something different than the other two books. I liked Ellie and Logan together and separately. Ellie for her innocence and personality and Logan for his devotion and non-royalty attitude. I know that non-royal was Henry as well, but in a different way.. And as a bonus, I was glad the story included all the couples, because I loved seeing them together and being a family in the true sense of the word.
They complete each other and reading about them made me love them even more. They fight, they argue, they give pieces of advice, but they always come back to each other. I am so glad I found this series because it is always like a breath of fresh air, with complexity in characters and plot and always a blast in spending your time. I devoured this one in 2 days and I was very sad it was over. Maybe we will get a forth book?

And at some point Logan and Ellie will go back to Wessco so that Ellie can help her very pregnant sister. The Queen will interfere and she will try to make arrangements with the intention that Ellie can get a suitable husband. We are talking about a really slow SLOW burn romance here. Logan and Ellie will have to test their feelings for many years, while the rest of the Royal families have their troubles and their moments of happiness.
I adored this book for a number of reasons: The scene where the dog ate the pies, made me cry from laughter.
Logan is an exceptional case of a male character: One of my All-Time favorite themes. I read this book during my summer holidays and I could not have chosen a more suitable book in order to have a great time! I really did not like it when Nicholas left his throne to marry Olivia. I thought it was not fair and I believed there could be no suitable king for Wessco other than Nicholas. I somehow felt a bit better when Nicholas confides to Logan view spoiler [Logan has also lost his job, a job he loved, for Ellie hide spoiler ] that he has never regretted it: And this ladies and gentlemen is how you write a bodyguard theme book!!!!
He takes his job very seriously. The prince has fallen in love with a woman from New York named Olivia Hammond. Logan is in his early 20's when he first meets Ellie. He can tell she has a massive crush on him, but keeps things professional. Ellie Hammond is in her senior year of high school when she first meets the adonis perfection that is Logan St. The man is absolutely stunning. She desperately craves him, but doesn't think he feels the same. He protects her, but can't make a move on her no matter how badly he wants her.
He would lay down his life for her, but will he choose love over his duty? I loved loved this book! James is everything I adore in a book boyfriend. I dream of you, even when I'm awake. The anticipation and build up made it a more believable relationship to me even if their reasons for being apart stopped being valid, in my opinion, way before they did anything about their feelings.
The intimate scenes were very hot and written well. There were others after they met but not after they committed to one another. No rape or abuse. View all 6 comments. He was strong and protective but he also had a sweet side and I loved seeing that. This story was about finding love when you least expected it and all under the watchful eye of the public. Something must have definitely gone wrong. Still do, though not as much as Titanic.
