I would be happy to buy for this seller again. I like to try hats on, so bought with trepidation. I was looking for a hat that I could pull down over my ears, and still look good. This fits the bill. Love the hat, cosy and comfy.
The narrative is entertaining to read aloud and the illustrations are cartoonish and colorful. The story was very cute and I would love to discuss with the children how they felt about the ending of the story. This was a cute story about two aspiring businessmen well, a business bear and a business fish who can't quite figure out the secret of success. Frank and Carl set up a hatstand at the City Market. Love this hat , great quality, perfect fit for me as hats like this are usually too big for me. Lists with This Book.

Frank and Carl lower their prices daily until something happens that finally makes everyone in town want a hat. Horowitz, with his trademark wit, makes readers laugh out loud with the wacky pairing of a fish and a bear as best friends. Illustrations are at once simple and sophisticated, colorful and thought provoking and include numerous amusing thought bubbles supplemental to the text.
Best for independent reading due to the complex illustrations. Kids will want to read it again and again to see what they missed the last time!
