New Tribes Mission is giving away my book! I wrote it for them. It explores three topics that are often overlooked in our prayer lives, and then examines how we can bring those together in a balanced prayer life.
And for those who want more, downloading the book will also give access to a fr. Writing is such a blast …. A crack of thunder punctuated the patter of rain on the roof. I walked from my office to our conference room to look out on the darkened afternoon. I watched the wind whip rain, leaves and small branches through the air. Now and then, lightning blazed and thunder roared.
It seemed fitting to observe the power of an afternoon thunderstorm that rolled in as I worked on the final draft of the study guide for the devotional, The Focus of Prayer. I have completed editing the devoti. The Focus of Prayer. This might seem like quite a leap.
The Focus of Prayer: Take two looks …. Take a look to the left, and a look to the right. Still in the works. Two books are still in editing. I turned those over to my team of critical readers for their input. I have not received input from even half of them yet. A chance meeting in Austin. I just had no idea what I would do with it. It seemed it would be problematic for publishers.
I was thinking I probably had to at least have a couple of th. Popularity Popularity Featured Price: Low to High Price: Gosh, somebody buy Amazon a thesaurus, please. It pays when people have read 10 percent of the book.
So under Kindle Unlimited, authors get paid when you actually start reading the book. And it has nothing to do with lending or libraries.
And if you want to read more books by them, you may need to help them succeed. Please keep doing that! But if you really want an author to succeed, you might want to take it a step farther, and show your friends why you like the books or author.
My entire career, I have been a writer and editor, which is a great privilege. She will end magic. Get to Know Us. I rewrote it several times as the story twisted and turned. Our heroine, Karia, turns 15 adulthood and not only has to deal with young men taking an interest in her, but she also finds out she's magic. She slowly discovers that she's not who she thinks she is and must quickly learn to deal with the new path her life is taking. I have a couple of minor changes to make, and then the book is ready to be printed.
You can do that by sharing your books with them. You know how to do that with a paperback.
But did you know you can also share most independently published ebooks? Of course, you can also buy the books for your friends. Many authors — including me — have a blog and a presence on Facebook, and perhaps a Twitter feed or other social media. You can help us by liking posts, sharing them, commenting, retweeting, etc. Those actions all make the posts more visible. Want to really help by taking it a step farther?
Go to their Facebook page or blog, and seek out posts you would want to share. Probably not every hour. Perhaps not even daily. But once a week or so would help.
I encourage you to write a helpful review — one that potential readers will find useful. Goodreads is another great place to post reviews. You probably should not post the same thing in both places, but you can follow the same helpful guidelines. If you really want to help, go the extra mile by reviewing more of their books. Like many authors, I am getting several reviews on the first book of my series, but few on the rest. Have you read them? Then please review them. How does Amazon know which are the most helpful?
By the number of people who have voted to designate a review helpful or unhelpful. Please take note that Amazon is not asking you if you like a review or if you agree with it. Want to do more? Or vice-versa, as another author did to me. Too bad this power is not given just to grown-ups. You can use the links above to see reviews for my books, and find the buttons to mark them helpful or unhelpful.
