His brother Griffin's discussions about how much being at the Cove had helped him, made Gage hope it would do the same for him. Plus, Skye would be there.

Skye was a childhood friend that had been corresponding with him for years. He couldn't wait to surprise her. Skye has had a secret for years and another secret for a short time. She has harbored a secret love for Gage since they were kids. Sending letters was safe since he was halfway across the world. He just thought she was being a good buddy. I like how neither of them made the other feel weak or insignificant but managed to help the other deal with everything.

Another great read by Ms. This is the last book in the Beach House No. This book is about Skye and Gage. Gage is Griffin's hero book 1 twin brother. He rented out Beach House No. But when he shows up he scares the heck out of her.

I can tell that something is not quite right with his friend, but she refuses to tell him what it is, at least at first. But then, Gage is hiding a secret from not only Skye, but his family as well. Skye is so unnerved at seeing Gage. She is deteremined to not let anyone know what happened to her. But little by little Gage breaks through her walls and gets her to talk about what happened to her.

I love how protective he is of her. It just melted my heart. Then, before you know it, Gage is spilling his own secrets on the condition that she tells no one, especially his twin and his family. The ending of this story is so beautiful and makes me hope for maybe a spin off series in the future.

As with the other books in this series, there is an additional side story, this one involving Teague and Polly. Teague is a firefighter and he's been in all three of the stories Polly is has been his best friend for years, but she's been in love with him that whole time. He has no idea what's staring him in the face, even after Polly hits him over the head with it. This has been a great series and I've loved the stories that have taken place in Beach House No.

The characters have been great and the setting has been perfect.

I definitely recommend this entire series. Photojournalist Gabe Lowell spent his childhood summers in Crescent Cove with his twin and local girl, Skye Alexander. While deployed overseas, he got through that hell by reading Skye's letters and imagining himself back there on the beach. But the image in his head didn't come close to the real woman. Skye has been harboring a secret crush on Gage for years. She hadn't seen him in so long, she figured her heart was safe, until he returns for one month on her Cove, and stirs up more than just lust.

The first book Beach House No 9 was a great read. I loved the main characters even though the secondary fell flat. The second book Bungalow Nights had a great secondary romance while the main was just so-so. This book nailed it. I couldn't wait to get to Skye's story, wondering what secret put her in her shell, and couldn't wait to see Gage get her out.

This was a fantastic summer read: Did I mention Teague and Polly finally get their story? One person found this helpful. I definitely recommend this book though I admit I am a complete novice as far as romance novels.

I purchased one of her books on a whim, it was on sale and I am not sorry. It was "Not Another New Year's. Then I purchased "Beach House No. For some reason I don't understand, so many people feel the need to retell the entire story, in detail; why bother to read the book after that!. So, all I will say is that I'm truly not the best judge of romance novels at this time,. I've only read one other book by another author, "Wife by Wednesday" by Catherine Bybee and I thought it quite "tame" sexually compared to Ridgway's books, but I believe it to be a very good 'romance novel' if that's what you're looking for.

The Love Shack had a pretty good narrative throughout, but let's be honest, women read these books for the sex for the most part, and Ridgway delivers although a little too repetitive in her wording for my taste. Having said all of that, does anyone have any recommendations regarding other authors who deliver like Ridgway?
