We visited this festival ourselves the last three years and it offers a perfect mix of beach, musoric and versatile music. Feel festival is located directly at the Bergheider See , which is km south of Berlin.

The better spots will still be available then so this might be a smart thing to do. When people discuss the best festivals in Germany, they usually mention Melt and Fusion but Sputnik is definitely worth your consideration as well.

Names like Steve Aoki, Paul Kalkbrenner and Oliver Koletzki should show you that this festival is seriously competing for a high position in this list. The Sputnik Springbreak festival is organised on an island called Pouch and is located about km from Berlin. As you can read these are all DJs who focus on Deephouse rather than techno.

Therefore Sputnik Springbreak could be a good decision if you like more melodic livesets. All in all Sputnik Springbreak is a great festival, the only thing which might bother some of the older readers, is the fact that there are many young people at this festival especially compared to Fusion, Melt and Nation of Gondwana.

Why visit Sputnik Springbreak? Sputnik Springbreak offers a awesome line-up if you like deephouse. The price is reasonable and the island Pouch is a great location for a festival. Festivals like Melt and Fusion are known all over Europe but most of you probably never heard of the event Her Damit.

This may be connected to the fact that Her Damit is a much smaller festival than the first ones in this list: Last year only people visited this dance-festival and therefore the atmosphere was very nice, cosy and friendly. The Secret Forest The secret forest is located a little bit outside a small village called Freudenberg. As mentioned above it is very easy to reach the location from Berlin. Besides plenty of green you will be able to see bunkers and many other historical spots on this new location of the Her Damit Festival.

The campsite will open on Friday and the music will stop on Sunday-Evening. The fact that Her Damit is smaller than most German festivals in this list is also part of its charm. Massive festivals like Melt or Hurricane are impressive but can also be annoying: There might be traffic jams when you drive there and if you party with a large group you will lose each other all the time.

The ticket-prices of Her Damit Festival are average compared to the other German weekend-festivals in this list. A great thing about Her Damit Festival is, that you are allowed to bring your own drinks to the festival also the dance-floors. Besides that the prices for food and drinks on the festival itself are very reasonable as well.

Big does not always mean better: Her Damit is a cosy and friendly festival on a great location in the middle of the nature. This location fits the festival very well because it gives it that special Berliner-vibe which we all love so much.
