    • The room was v nice but without air con on a very warm evening it was oppressive and frustrating. I expressed my unhappiness to the staff but they say they have had no other complaints about this policy. The policy is not shown on their website or the hotel policies in booking. Had we known of this rule we would not have booked or would have cancelled during the cancellation period.

    No air conditioning in the room, bed was a little hard. The bunk bedroom was extremely tight for space. Amazing chateau, really beautiful, secluded paradise so close to Biarritz Centre. It was very noisy and hot. It is located next to a major freeway. The place is quite worn and when you look closely at anything it is not clean. The family suite was odd with a bathroom adjoining the two rooms which made flow awkward. It was also extremely hot - there is no air conditioning and they only had one fan.

    The pool was beautiful. I have nothing bad to say about Chateaux Du Clair. We should have upgraded to better room to fully appreciate this stunning location Sign for hotel at entrance on left limits the view of the roam and should be adjusted - suggest lower side gets risen to at least 1. No facility at hotel after 8 pm the hotel dies and closes all the bar and restaurant Breakfast is poor No slippers and sanitary stuff at bahroom.

    We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions over the years. It has been done with taste and the chateau is just charming and very well appointed. There is also a very good, but separate to the hotel, restaurant on site. We had a fabulous meal and at a reasonable cost. Would visit the restaurant again. The chateau can offer certain in-house tapas type alternatives or they are quite happy to advise, if you are willing to go out and appreciate the local restaurants.

    Breakfast was quite expensive for a continental breakfast. Could have done with some fruit like strawberries, blueberries or raspberries. Beautiful property in a beautiful setting.
