    She didn't like it at all, but since her mom had died she didn't have a choice. Brianna and her mom were animal people unlike her dad. But perhaps a miracle kitten named Mira would change that. All Brianna knew was that she wouldn't give up on the poor little thing. It meant too much for her AND for Mira. This is a nice little short story about loss and learning to live again. Sometimes all it takes is a four footed miracle.

    One person found this helpful. It started a bit slow, but I kept reading. Eventually, it got very interesting. That's when it happened- The End. This story is about a young teen girl who's mother died from cancer. However, kind neighbors and a feral kitten change all of that. If you enjoy stories about saving helpless animals then you will definitely enjoy this short story as much as I did.

    The Winter Kitten is a very sweet story. It p has such a positive message , to not give up on things that are important to you I had lots of wild pets when I was a child so can relate. This young lady was used to dogs. It was well written with a young girls perspective.
