He tries to be kind and mind the shop for Mr Sugarman, but he serves salt instead of sugar to Dame Flap and canary seed instead of butter to Molly Miggle.

Mister Meddle is a very merry pixie always willing to help out and do good deeds, but he never quite gets it right! In this story he meets a kangeroo and doesn't know what to do with it. The interior of the back cover featured a "Color this Picture with your Crayons" full-page line-drawn illustration of a scene from the tale.
