An amazing heartfelt book. This story is about the illusion of time and how this luxury can be easily taken away. Daria has been whisked away to the fae realm. She has been told she is Veriseil, the fae queen and she struggles with this day in and day out. She has always been an independent woman and feels like she is drowning in this new world and life. She has no say in this and it wrecks her emotionally. Iauron, the fae king, is ecstatic that he has found his queen. But how does he show her t An amazing heartfelt book. But how does he show her that he loves Daria and not just Veriseil.
There is a delicate push and pull between the characters that becomes intense at times.
And low and behold And what happens when you mess with fate? Karma comes back tenfold to all involved. This is truly a wonderful story of true love A beautiful follow up to Beyond the Veil of Whispered Dreams. I can't to see what Jolanthe Aleksander comes up with next! I also Wondered what would happen with Iauron and Daria. I am very pleased with the results. I was also stunned to find out more of Disras background. I love how everything is connected and how it all ties nicely into one another.

I can hardly believe it has been a week already. Here is a quick pictorial recap. The road trip started out with a game of luggage tetris. I love that we get to set up our tables the night before, which was followed by a pajama party and game night. I love seeing readers who have either read Beyond the Veil of Whispered Dreams and are looking to pick up Veiled Path to Destiny, or who have read both and are stopping by to see if I have anything new since Veiled Path was released.
Nothing quite picks up your spirits like hearing a reader who has read your books recommend them to new readers. The Con ended with Casino night.

Aaaaaanyway……the one thing an author MUST have when attending these signings is….. There is no way of controlling which site your books are printed at. Needless to say, I hurried home on my lunch break, placed my book order, and crossed my everythings that they would be printed and shipped before Irma hit land.

Summer is flying by. Where did the time go? My next book signing is at Penned Con in St. Louis the weekend of September This event is an awesome two day convention with two days of signings, great parties, two ballrooms filled with authors willing to talk the language of our people…BOOKS! Have you read them? Did you review them? A Fae King searching for his lost Queen finds her in the least likely place…the human realm.
He sets himself on a quest to not only reclaim his mate, but to restore her memory of who she once was. Should be easy enough for the King of Faerie, right? When my first signing of the season ended, and The Veiled Path to Destiny was released, I had planned to jump right back into writing and getting the next book on the agenda out. I should actually say, I did a re-read of a book I loved so much I have a pristine, signed copy on the shelf and an e-copy on my Kindle.
Do you do that? Buy a book in both formats?
Or do you only want to read the books they write in said genre? For some, it might take me awhile to make the jump, but for others I jump with little to no hesitation. I am back to putting words on the page. The book I am currently working on is another Fae romance, but not a part of the Veil series, and will be a stand-alone.
At least that is the goal. One just never knows when a secondary character will jump up, waving their hands, demanding their story be told. The second WIP is a fairytale retelling, but more on that later one.
