The location was good. The price was relatively good. Good public transport available nearby as well as shopping and food. The view from our balcony was magnificent. Lifts were mostly efficient. The room was stink, found feces on the carpet next to the bed. The view and location. The staff at the hotel was really no help since the room is privately owned which by the way I was not aware of before I booked it. I called several times to the number that was in the customer service binder which was in the room with all the instructions for my stay. No one ever responded to any of my calls.

The phone in the room was disconnected so I used my cell phone the entire time I was there.

The toilet made a high pitched squeaking noise every time it was flushed. I had asked for more pillows when I booked my room because I have a medical condition requiring me to elevate my head and leg when sleeping. But as you can imagine there were not available, so I borrowed some from my sons hotel because my hotel told me they were not responsible for providing them.

I ended up spending more time at my sons hotel than at my own because it was so uncomfortable in mine. I should also mention that when you leave the room check the door to make sure it is closed. So anyone could have gone in. I can honestly say the only good thing about my room was the fact it was clean and the view was nice. The fact that there is no daily cleaning service is unfortunate. A little congested for a family of 4 adults.

The room was very clean and the location was fantastic. I liked everything about the hotel. That I had to pay for parking and I wish they would have had daily maid service! Internet seemed to drop off regularly.

It was close to shopping and eateries. No hair dryer, ocean view was blocked by other building.

Close to beach, close to shopping center, close to transportation, room is clean. It would be great if they had a menu guide in the room To have the cleaners check the remote control or leave extra batteries for the tv remote. It was so convenient, all we had to do was pick up our keys and give them our credit info to pay for vale. There was no cleaning service at all or replacement of towels for the week and we were expected to remove all rubbish from the room prior to departure. The plumbing blocked up however there was a plunger to fix it ourselves, which we did.

Tap for shower and plug for sink were confusing to operate. The double beds were small for two people.

It is a great time to find a spot on the endless stretch of sand. I prefer grabbing a spot somewhere on the edge of the Bermuda grass that runs off onto the beach. Another spectacular viewing spot is located further up the peninsula on the right side of Magic Island, where you can sit on the paved pathway and dangle your feet over the sea wall, watching the waves roll into the rocks or the surfers ride into the sunset.

Turn left into the park when you reach Ala Moana Park Dr. Yes, take the Bus. You will be doing alot of walking once you are at the mall so don't get tired before you get there! Its not that far, certainly a long walk, but walking in the sun will really tire you, so take the Bus. Ditto all the above, the Bus is easy and all the drivers are very helpful.
