Bruhns's "Passion For Danger" series first, otherwise I'd think this amateurish and utterly "meh" offering was indicative of her writing prowess. Its single saving grace is that it's only pages long. It'll only kill your desire to read another book by Nina Bruhns. Everything about the Indigo Inn is perfect, absolutely perfect. Except for the dead guy in the hammock… Sean Guthrie desperately needs to get a five-star rating for his new business venture, an idyllic bed and breakfast on the South Seas island paradise of Fiji.
His fate is in the hands of a beautiful, starry-eyed guidebook evaluator for whom he feels a powerful and inopportune attraction. Can you say blackmail?
How can she in good conscience give this disaster area a five-star rating? Tony wants her too but he's got ulterior motives for accepting the job. This is a who-done-it kind of story. The setting is fantastic.
The fashion industry is full of petty jealousy and assistants willing to tell secrets for the right price. Tony Falcon is a great character! I love how Sylvie knew what she wanted and went after it. All around a fantastic story with plenty of mystery. Looking forward to reading more from this talented author.
