Haley escapes her small-town and builds a life in Los Angeles as a wedding planner. When her sister asks her to plan her wedding, Haley returns to her childhood town and reunites with a childhood flame. After her husband dies, Sarah and her daughters Chrissy and Kilee moves to a new city hoping for a new life. Kilee hates the move, feeling that they're running away from her dad's memory. Running out of transportation - and financial means, when her car breaks down in a Rockies town, former Boston chef Reese Gilmore accepts a diner cook's job at least until she can afford the spare parts which may takes weeks to arrive anyway.
She resist the owner's womanizing son, handsome romantic ranch-hand Lohario 'Lo', but gets on kissing terms with grumpy recluse author and former city reporter Brody.

This is a brand-new movie, and yet I've seen it a thousand times before. The last fifteen minutes of it are as predictable as a sunrise, right from the opening credits. Can the Hollywood producers not come up with a different idea, a new ending for their so called "thriller"s?

Do they still believe that this type of ending has any thrill at all, when it's been done so many times? I'm not familiar with Nora Roberts as a writer, but this looks like it could well have been written by Mary Higgins Clark, or by me, for that matter. To me, it sounds like the person in question is also there to be an angel of their angel, if that makes sense? Whether their angel is a family member or a good friend, that angel is always there to comfort them. However, when the angel is having problems themselves, the author steps in and feels obligated to comfort their angel. Basically, if someone is always their to comfort you and make you feel better, you should do the same for them if they are in need.

IMO the other interpretations go for the obvious except the currently highest rated one, but I still think it's not completely right. They have no resolve to fight against them and give in to negativity and become consumed with hopelessness. Now they are completely trapped underneath the weight of the world after having buried themselves.
To me, the line actually means "IN A WORLD where angels fall with broken wings," as if to demonstrate the depth of the world's corruption and hopelessness by suggesting that the state of humanity is so dire and so cold that the purest beings in existence are crippled by it and are powerless to save us.
