To me, it sounds like the person in question is also there to be an angel of their angel, if that makes sense? Whether their angel is a family member or a good friend, that angel is always there to comfort them. However, when the angel is having problems themselves, the author steps in and feels obligated to comfort their angel. Basically, if someone is always their to comfort you and make you feel better, you should do the same for them if they are in need.

IMO the other interpretations go for the obvious except the currently highest rated one, but I still think it's not completely right. They have no resolve to fight against them and give in to negativity and become consumed with hopelessness. Now they are completely trapped underneath the weight of the world after having buried themselves.
