Hannah is able to track down the charming and handsome doctor who was involved in saving the family's lives, as well as the family themselves. Great connections are formed, and electricity sparks between Hannah and the doctor,Seth. Unfortunately, Seth has given up on finding his angel of mercy and is now engaged to cold, calculating Katheryn. Before Hannah can sort everything out, she time-travels again, and life becomes complicated as the reader anxiously awaits for the next disappearance of Hannah.
Great, totally believable characters in an incredible situation. Good study questions at the back of the book with Scripture references for aid. Secondary characters are planted who will more than likely have their own time in this series, and I can't wait for each story to find fruition. The big question of the book seems to be, should Hannah use her knowledge of the future to change the past, and thus, the future? Not a lot of mention about God, but Seth does say he believes"God had the foreknowledge of how I was going to mess up and was big enough to handle turning my faults into something good.

As with fantasy, when I read one of these types of novels, I try to enter with the mindset that there will probably be some unbelievable aspects, and that's what I did with this book.
Yesterday was reall Review on Amazon: Yesterday was really good. I found the story fascinating and it kept me turning pages. The time travel aspect to the story was very intriguing and definitely made the book distinct from other books I've read. The characters were good. I liked Hannah - the little quirks she had like her phobia of driving and riding in a car, her dislike of surprises, etc.
At times, the writing wasn't that polished, but it was still pretty good. Overall, I really enjoyed Yesterday! It was an interesting and quick read. The ending left me wanting to read "The Locket" book two very much. I recommend Yesterday to fans of these types of stories. I was not required to give a positive review, only my honest opinion - which I've done. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own and I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

There was a woman , her husband and two children. She had to see if they were still alive. Hannah's phone had no signal. She had to get down to them, but how was she going to do that? I know there are days when I feel that way, but Hannah Kraeger does not wish for this to happen and yet it does. What she experienced as yesterday really happened years previously. If she makes changes, does that alter the world in a way that would be displeasing to God? Is there a plan for the time-travel that God has for her life? Hannah has many questions and few answers. I enjoy the fast-pac Are there days when you wish you could go back to some former time and redo things? I enjoy the fast-paced suspense in Yesterday.
I love those books that have me literally "on the edge of my seat" trying to figure out what in the world is going to happen next. Yesterday is definitely one of those books! This book will allow you to leave your own cares and worries and be transported to another time and place along with Hannah and her oh so delicious doctor boyfriend. The reader is gripped in an unrelenting, mesmerizing hold until the ending. The main character finds herself learning about breaking free of the present, and being able to walk back to the past. How and why is unknown. Should the main character change Breathe deep and fill your lungs now because you won't be able to catch your breath once you start Should the main character change the past? Why is she time traveling? Is it okay that she changed the past? Is it going to happen again? Can she survive if it does? This is a great time travel story, with great characters. Yesterday hits the ground running and doesn't let up. This isn't your typical romantic suspense story The time-travel aspect is brilliant! Amanda Tru has created a cast of memorable characters I cannot wait to see how the story will end up May 08, Nora St Laurent rated it really liked it. This is a fun quick engaging read I enjoyed. I was hooked from the start as a woman comes out of nowhere to flag Hannah down. She is on a snow filled country road and the woman banging on her door is bleeding and not making sense. Where did she come from? There were no other cars around. Hannah grabs her first aid kit and heads down the ravine.
She was afraid but knew there was no one else to help this family. God would have to help her do the impossible. Hannah wakes up the next morning ready to check on the family she helped yesterday. She wondered how the husband was getting along he was in critical condition last night. She asks her sister Abby how the couple was doing.
She looked at her arm and saw the bruises she got from helping the family last night. She had to track down Dr. Seth Mcallister to find the family. She located the Dr. To her it was just yesterday. Hannah and Seth compare notes and wonder if she had a time travel experience. Would it happen again? How did it happen in the first place? The similarities was the fact that they both never knew when they would be whisked off in time and there was one person who knew them and about their traveling adventures.
One difference is the fact that Hannah Kraeger did travel with her clothes in tact! Their quest to find out why this happened in the first place and if and when it would happen again. I was not required to write a positive review. If you like the Hannah and Seth series, check the other out. You wont be disappointed. I love contemporary Christian romance, but was ready to read something different - ready to sprinkle my reading list with some additional mystery or suspense I just read the first two books back-to-back in a weekend! Yes - of course! I plan to finish the series The first book was interesting and entertaining as you travel back in time of the main character in the book.
I never guessed why or how why reading the book.
The second book continues in the story line and further explains how this can happen. Very creative and believable.
I felt satisfied on how the author brought things to a conclusion. I read one of her books and had to buy another one. They are really clean, light Romance books. The only thing that I did not like is that the stories never end. They leave you hanging where you have to keep buying the books in the series. Get to Know Us. Start at the beginning of this series and work your way through. Most helpful customer reviews on Amazon. This installment was fast paced and full of craziness. I'm hoping by now that you've read the other books if you're reading this review. Still, I'll try not to spoil everything. Every time traveling turn results in more despair.
Hope is a far fetched theory. I really enjoyed this book. It wasn't as dark and depressing as Today.
I honestly think that the The Choice and Tomorrow should have been combined. I suppose the cliffhanger from The choice was purposefully done, but both books were relatively short. Either combining Tomorrow with The Promise or The choice, for me, would've been a fun read.
I loved finally seeing her time travel into the future. It was a different twist. The Locket was definitely one of my favorite books out of the series. When she time travels into the future, then we see the more interesting elements of the world that Tru has built up. When she's in the past or in the relative present, there's not much sci fi going on, aside from her time traveling. Lastly - the message in this book definitely resonated with me.
That relinquishing control to God is so important and absolutely a constant struggle. Great read I highly recommend it! You won't be able to put it down. It's the 5th book in a six book series and you won't want to put it down. Each book adds to the story so you will want to get all 5 books at the same. The 6th will be out in a few months.
