A murder mystery is planned at the Inn, and the prepared plans and plot are pushed aside when there is a real murder near the grounds of the Inn, When co-owner of the Inn Maddox joins the police in trying to remove all guests, they are stunned to find out no one will leave. All of the guests are members of a murdery mystery organization except local Mrs. Cromley who is the town's foremost gossip. The A fun second book in the Maddox Storm series.
The members take pride in their solving abilities and plan to solve the crime by Sunday noon as planned-just not the original fictitious crime! Maddox joins Detective Nathaniel Bishop in trying to solve the murder as well. What is left is a twisty plot with many possibilities of who actually committed the murder. Along the way there are touches of humor, romantic longings, and much misdirection. I enjoyed the book and recommend it!
