She really loves all of her charges as if they were her own. She is out for a run when she spies a little boy in trouble and darts in to rescue him from being hit by a car. The car's driver was always in a hurry to get no where but injuring a young woman was the last straw for Liam's life. Liam thinks he's going crazy because there is an angel watching ov Sadie is a hard working young woman that doesn't have any real spare time for herself. Liam is unsure of the direction his life is taking lately but the idea of returning to war doesn't really appeal to him all that much.
Liam offers to help Sadie with her dogwalking business until she's able to handle it for herself. Someone is snatching some of Sadie's dogwalking clients. The little boy's family has some unexpected turns and in need of aid. Will Sadie let Liam help her? Will Liam admit his feelings? Who is taking these dogs? What about the little boy's family? It had moments of suspense which I loved , the dogs also loved and funny moments between Sadie and her family.
This book had me surprised a couple of times, good surprises though. Sadie was quite the leading lady. I just wanted to hug her and tell her everything is ok and tell her you should be happy with who you are. I could relate well with the things she struggled with and why she had issues with men an I really enjoyed reading His Devious Angel, book 2 in the Angels with Attitudes series. But he surprised me, turned out he was a hero a couple of.

Then as we get deeper in the story begins to unfold the problems both had when they were younger and it gets kinda emotional there for a bit and on top of it all they must work together to solve a dog napping!

This is the book I have on my phone to read when I've got my phone handy but don't want to be on Facebook or something, so it's slow reading unless I really get into a story. The dogs and Liam's shenanigans were amazing! This is a great series to follow. Sadie's mother and sisters add a delightful flavor--and humor--to the story, while the Ruiz family not only present a means for Liam to demonstrate his responsible side, but also allow Barbour t Dog lovers will definitely enjoy this book. Liam thinks he's going crazy because there is an angel watching ov Sadie is a hard working young woman that doesn't have any real spare time for herself. Loved this story, couldn't put it down. I loved the twist at the very end with the angel!!

A collision triggers their meeting, and to compensate for his carelessness, Liam takes over her dog walking chores, prompted by his unexpected angelic visitor. I read this book in two sessions. Fast paced and clever, I was entertained from beginning to end, worried that Liam w I had the pleasure of reading His Devious Angel!

If you want a refreshing, warm read, I highly recommend His Devious Angel. Now after reading His Devious Angel, a longer paranormal romance, I'm hooked. Since I'm a dog lover, I laughed and hooted through the antics of macho Special Ops Liam and the many dogs. And even if you're not a dog lover, you'll find yourself chuckling. But that's not all. There's an angel with an attitude, a heartfelt lo I'm an avid reader, mostly of Historical or Contemporary Romances, but after reading 2 paranormal novellas of Mimi Barbour's, I found myself enjoying the flavor of paranormals.
There's an angel with an attitude, a heartfelt love story of Sadie and Liam--both having way too more baggage than anyone should have--and a story of how families really do count and how rekindling lost family bonds and love can be so very rewarding. She even surprises herself when she saves a young boy from getting hit by a car but finds herself bruised up. Liam O'Brien is shocked when an angel pops into his car to complain how fast he is driving when he ends up hitting a woman who saves a boy from his car. Desperate to make it up to her he agrees to help her with her dog walking business while he is not serving his country as a soldier.
As Liam begins to help Sadie Bertolli is a dog walker who also teaches yoga and volunteers at a care home. As Liam begins to help Sadie some of the dogs begin to go missing and they have a mystery on their hands. Will they be able to find out what is happening with the dogs before they find themselves in their own trouble? This was a fun mystery with some romance thrown in as well! I liked Sadie and her hatred of men due to her ex, Derrick Slater, and she chose to paint all men the same way.

Yet she is also such a kind person with how she gives back her time and what she does for others. I enjoyed the other side of Liam which we got to see through his interactions with Pedro and his family and I was not expecting the twist with that family for sure but I loved how it all worked out.
The relationship between Liam and Sadie almost started off as pure hatred but gradually evolved into more and I liked watching ti all progress and the amount of trust they put in each other. The plot continues with the delivery of a baby, pet kidnapping, her crazy family, his Dad's help and finally well you are just going to have to read how His Devio How clever to make His Devious Angel a Jack Sparrow look-a-like with a British accent and lots of sassy attitude as he rode around in he back seat of Liam's convertible.

Liam is a tough soldier who sobs when he sees his dad, Stan is a commanding officer who stumbles around a kidnapping site with no plan, Sadie is intelligent but not capable of anything Just not an interesting or good read in any way.
I started this a bit ago, but has to keep closing it, hoping it would be better if I walked away from it for a day or two. You feel, taste, see everything going on. Fantastic characters, fantastic plots, story lines like real life both honest folk and of crooks. Humor that will have you giggling then full on belly laugh. You may even shed a tear or two.
